Random thoughts:

*Maybe we're keeping Ertz after all?

*Would like to see them calling the agents of a few veteran CBs soon. Perhaps Steven Nelson?

*And we need to find another playable free safety -- veteran or draft, I don't care.

*Looks like we're going another year with absolute $*** at LB, and I guess I'm fine with that. Glad we're adding some talent to the lines early in this draft. When you have this many holes, you can't address all of them in one draft.

*I think we can get an immediately playable RB tomorrow. Probably someone to take Howard's spot on the roster.

*Let's add some young depth at DT tomorrow. I'd like to see 1-2 guys taken there, since we know Ridgeway will be out with a season-ender by week #3. And I'd like to see Cox and Hargrave get their reps reduced a bit. Especially Cox as he's now 30.

*Wouldn't be surprised to see them add a QB and TE tomorrow.

Is Williams projected at DE or DT?

 

Who cares that our corners suck??

Patching any position with half-measures just degrades our 2022 draft position...and forces us to use resources in said half measures.

Draft players that have a shot to project as long term starters here.

This isn't the draft to **** about "ignoring" a position.

9ers always having excellent RBs.

correct. reaching for an average CB prospect who flames out by 3 years from now isnt going to be as good as finding a long time contributor along the DL. Not the biggest need, but the biggest impact. And building properly by looking down the road rather than foolishly trying to patch holes in a rebuilding year anyway.
