Having him fly to Florida to get fired is some cold crap. 🥶

Nah it's pretty warm in Florida...even in the winter!  😃

I'd prefer Howie, but it looks like he slinked his way out of trouble again.

The sucky part of this is that we need Howie, he's probably the best guy to fix our cap hell.

So tell me how playing or pulling Sproles was DUCES fault? I'll wait

He's in charge of the RB rotation...hence it's his fault.

This organization is just a flustercluck from the top down.  OK so you want to can Doug ... why wait a week?  We are now entering the dance so much later than all other teams involved in a HC search.

May as well complete the rebuild now and can Howie too.  Please!!

WOW!! JEFF LURIE IS THE MAN!  THANK YOU JEFF!!!

There was a report that Jeff was "talking to people in the organization" and that Pederson could be fired if Lurie did not believe in his vision.  When I saw that, I thought there was a very good chance Pederson would be fired.

My hot take on this: he was fired because of communication failures.  Carson was pissed at him because Pederson benched him and didn't tell him what was happening.  When Hurts was benched the whole sideline was pissed because he didn't properly communicate what the plan was.  Lurie values communication.  This was actually a big reason to fire Chip.

Also, second hot take: HIRE DUCE!

And as said, I think Chris and Woody Johnson wind up making Doug the new Jets head coach.

As for Duce, they simply can promote him to HC because that would satisfy the Rooney Rule.

Thanks for the Super Bowl.

Philly special was the best play call of all time.  Nobody can take that away from him.

Lets see:

Our owner is now churning through head coaches every 3 or so years

Our owner is best buds with the GM and fires said coaches over removing the incompetent GM

The GM, in order to make splashy moves, pushes money in to future cap years

The GM also blows draft picks on aging veterans instead of focusing on building through the draft.

If I were to compare this situation to another team, it would be the 2000's R-words with Snyder and Cerrato.  What did that get them?  A lot of 5 or 6 win seasons with a 9 win season sprinkled in.

Buckle up fellow fans, the league is about to go in on us dry.

Not sure how I feel about unloading Doug.  There are many others that I think should have gone first.

If Howie is staying, this move makes no sense, unless Wentz really has that much pull within the org. This was a pretty idiotic move imo, but only time will tell.

Andy Reid's right hand man in KC, Eric Bieniemy, gets the gig.  Book it.

I’ll vomit.

Need someone outside the Reid tree this time.

Guess that means Wentz stays. So some good news at least.

IF he somehow gets out of the 2 season funk he's been in.

You say good news, I say bad news.

I'm not surprised by this, I'm not disappointed as such. What I can't believe is that the weasel Howie doesn't seem to be held accountable for his share of this mess.

Play calls are on Ped,if he doesn't like Duce's call,he can change it. He MUST agree with Duce's decision yes? If that happens often, then you have meetings about it,but the final decision is PEDS

I would prefer Daboll. I agree that I want them to get out of chasing Andy's offensive system. I know Daboll is under McDermott, but he is running his own offense and is technically not under Andy's tree in terms of offense.
