dont want bienamy.

Smith is gone to Atlanta. Daboll, Brady and then Bienemy/Kafka for me. I have no clue why anyone who has seen the nonsensical RB rotation thinks Duce should be head coach. Oh - players like a former player who bonds well with them? Great plan. Let every group of employees pick their boss and see how that works.

Duce as a real candidate is ridiculous.

Duce would be a horrible choice

Take it with a grain of salt (this page accurately reported the Arthur Smith hiring and Josh Gordon suspension news today so I'll give it the benefit of the doubt), but apparently Jason Garrett is a legit finalist for the Chargers job. If the Chargers are foolish enough to pass up on Brian Daboll for Garrett, it only further ensures our chances of landing him or Joe Brady. If the Texans go Bieniemy then we'll have our pick of the two!

Wow. Why would you do that to Herbert and the team? Actually feel bad for the young QB if they make Clapper the HC

We are in a rebuild, so the next coach is doomed to fail.

We'd still be better off than we are today.

Yeah I’m not so sure about that. I read the same stuff last season when so many people were so giddy about the coaches by committee approach. It was worse than Groh.

Phew....

Would be the same result if we hired a defensive-minded HC who in turn hired a legit OC.  Anyway not sure I like a structure like we just got out of where we have a HC who is also OC unless the guy is brilliant with Xs and Os, adjusting his scheme to fit the strengths of his players, etc.  I just think bring a HC already carries so much response that it is best to have him focus on that.

Our last three coaches basically called the plays. Gruden called the plays for Rhodes. I don’t know we have had a lot of success with coaches calling their own plays.

Then why is Bienemy a candidate?  Please dont say  because he has been the OC for KC.  we all know Andy runs the show there.  I really would like to hear why he should be considered for the job.

He has been a coordinator of a record setting offense. It really isn’t that hard to understand. OC of top offense in the league vs. RB coach on one of the worst offenses in the league...yeah, same resume.

If Jason Garrett was hired as the Eagles head coach it would be down right hilarious

Definitely. Seeing the Linc actually burned to the ground would be pretty entertaining.

It's not a waste of time. Howie has to have somebody to blame. The Eagles are not going to get one of the premium picks because what happened here with Doug is not a secret. Who of the desirable candidates is going to risk being next? So yeah, I can see Duce being the next victim - er -head coach.

It's such a f***king letdown that Lurie is allowing this draft position and the choice of a new coach has to be ruined.            It would have been so refreshing to start this rebuild the right way.

Given where things stand, if this team is dumb enough to promote a guy who no other NFL team had ever shown ANY interest in, then we are a complete laughing stock and the new Browns.

It would be perfectly logical, actually, given the track record over the last couple of years.

LOL, you really think he is the architect of that offense.   Give me break, he is not the reason for the success of that offense.  Not even a little bit.  Need to come up with another reason he should be a head coach.

Not sure. I rarely create threads. You had to clear it all to remove just a few names?

Last resort is to get a mod to fix it 🤷‍♂️

@Moderator12 can you or one of the mods help with making this poll answerable?

Removing the names was F’ing the numbers up. For example, removing Saleh was shifting the list up one and attributing the wrong numbers to the wrong choices.
