In a legal sense it's second hand knowledge that a sworn witness would present at a trial. Telling the court they heard some other person say something. Typical not admissable. It's not complicated and most people have a perfectly functional understanding of what it is.

But the above was simply a verbatim quote from the Simpsons.

Whenever someone plays dumb about the old board I’m always a little skeptical.  And the reason I say that is this:  young people really don’t do the message board thing.  And since we don’t have any young fans wandering in here that means pretty much everyone was on the old board at some point.

Yep, know him and his family very well.  His dad started the shop in 1892 and he took over.  This dude cuts hair from 5:30am to 5:00pm five days a week.  He's over 80 now and isn't stopping until he drops.  Haven't visited the shop for a few years so maybe he's slowing down but I doubt it.  Alas, neither his son or daughters are going to take over after him so no telling what happens once the day comes.

He is a huge Eagles fan and sports fan.  Several Eagles have visited him over the years and Dick Vermeil was a bit of a regular.  Lots of Philly and local sports pics all over the walls and the banter is always Philly/local sports.

 

Paco - Local trivia for you.  Bob started a Kennett Square Baseball Old Timers (HOF) way back which runs to this day.  There is a yearly banquet and usually a Phillie player/coach/announcer will make the main speech.  My brother was inducted a couple years back.

edit: I looked it up and Larry Bowa will be the guest speaker this year.
