This 2 days off thing is messing with me. Almost like when the Eagles get their ass kicked then an entire week goes by and ya think "that was only one game last week, if they just win today they're right back in it and anything can happen..." 

I'm starting to think maybe they're not totally dead yet    and the couple days off here was what they needed to refocus and go up there and close this out.

They are done.  Toronto by 20 tomorrow and lose by 10 in game 7.

I have no reason to believe this other than a gut feeling, but I think the Sixers get it together and win tomorrow.

Here's my take:

This definitely stems from childhood.... He's obviously had a messed up family life - between the abuse aligations by his sister and the weirdo articles about his father forcing him to play basketball and do everything left handed, etc.  You know something messed up probably happened to him as a kid - it explains the aloofness and antisocial personality. 

You can tell he's one of those guys who hates playing basketball, but likes being a celebrity - it's basically just a job to him.

His entire online presence is based around video games, cars, NFT's and fashion - basketball is obviously not his main priority.

Like someone said before - Andrew Bynum was the same person.   They're both 6'10/7 foot dudes who were naturally athletically gifted but were probably forced to play a sport they really weren't into by their parents and grew to resent it.

If you could not go to work at a job you hated and still get paid, would you still go to work?

 

He's still a **** and I'm glad he's getting trashed for this, but it's obvious to anybody who is familiar with mental illness to understand what is going on. 

He's such a head case, I can't help myself but I find how crazy he is fascinating. I ended up watching "One and Done" again last night. All his mental problems are on full display. Watching it again with the benefit of hindsight, it's all there... how much he hates basketball and just wants to get paid. His sister gets hired by Rich Paul and she cons him into signing with him. He would be more high profile with Adidas but takes the Nike deal because its more money. His only life outside of basketballs is about clothes and video games.

I can’t root against them, even if I know it would be best in the long run if they lose. First round exit is definitely getting Glenn fired.
