James Harden had 11 points.  11!!!   You fools, you know who you are, the "real Sixers fan”. You’re really quiet right now.  You told us all how Harden is a great player and that I don’t know or follow basketball. Got all pissed off when I called him a malcontent loser and out of shape.  I’ll say that if you’re going to just blame the Hammy all this time, then that would mean he wasn’t in shape.  One of ya will receive an IM from me in the coming days. The other can just F off.

People are going to learn.  They’re tired of hearing it.  But it doesn’t get old.

Hi passive aggressive guy.  I know you don't want to be "bullied" so I'll be as nice as I can be.  I predicted them to win in 6 after game 4 because I saw what little the Heat had other than Hero and Jimmy.  Little did I know that Embiid would pout and Harden would quit as much as he did.  And of course Glenn.  Or maybe we should just sit by and not post anything to avoid being "bullied".  Is that how it works?

Hi can dish it out but can't take it guy.  I don't give an ish what you say to or about me, I just enjoy poking at you because a) like I said you can dish it out but can't take it and b) you spend most of your time constantly posting about how "right" you are on things that I enjoy the hell out of pointing out when you're wrong.  Good day, sir :-)

Yeah.  I’m a fool for believing that broke ass Harden and bum ass Rivers cared.  And like all of us, I thought Embiid was past his pouty ways. Silly me.  I can take anything you throw my way, if you had the nuts to take a position on anything.    Now don’t go in another thread and cry about being "bullied” again.

I’m right here. Call me all the names you want. I’m ready for whatever avatar you pick. We will make another bet about Harden next year.

I only lumped you in because of your tantrum that one day.  You’re alright in my book.  I’ll be nice.

I was on a plane & missed the game...sounds like about what I expected. looking forward to the off-season queefing....and all the imaginary deals they "could've" had for simmons that would've resulted in a parade down broad street.

way too accurate...harden was the stah morey wanted to pair with embiid...but he sucked. this team is kind of f'd!  there's my queef.

So Sixers fans... Do you think changing the coach can give you a better chance next year?

Not if it's the one they want to change it too

I just wanna point out while some of you are pounding your chests about how right you are/were about Harden, etc that you also predicated the Sixers would win this series in 6

I didn't, just cause they won games that they should have against the freaking raptors without their all star didn't give me any confidence they could do sheet with the Heat.

It can't hurt. Embiid, Maxey, and Harden will be back. Otherwise they need new personnel and a new coach. Miami played the same zone defense the entire series. The only solution the Sixers had was to shoot over it. When they weren't hitting deep shots, they couldn't get the offense going. Meanwhile Miami was running multiple sets on offense to scheme guys open and get them paths to the hoop. Rivers was thoroughly outcoached.

Oh really? I never quite get some teams (in any sport) approach to some things. Be it coaches or blind spots at positions.

They want a guy that runs a super high octane offense which does not fit Embiid game or hardens anymore. Maxey is the only one capable of running it

Not saying morey didn’t want and covet harden. Definitely did and was a major factor in getting him here.

However don’t overlook the fact that Michael Rubin is super close with James Harden before morey even arrived here. the owner of the 76ers being very good friends with James Harden was also a major factor in them wanting to go out there and get James Harden as well. morey along with sixers ownership deserve a ton to blame for being harden or bust for two years.

Also the sixers dating back to Brett brown and Elton have always said they wanted a stah.  One of the excuses about why they traded Mikal Bridges to get Zhaire Smith was star hunting and they thought he had that potential in him. So this we gotta have a big time star is an organizational belief dating back a while now.

Morey was brought in by the sixers to get a star here and they believed with the addition of morey along with his harden relationship and Rubin being good friends with harden that it gave them a leg up for harden a Star to actually want to to come to Philly. Ultimately morey and sixers ownership look stupid as harden wasn’t worth it anymore (if he ever was in the first place)

The biggest issue is ownership.

Serious question… If Reed was given back up minutes all year, would he have been polished enough to make up the difference in this series?

They are definitely up there. There’s a ton of issues and people to blame in this. Legitimately ownership has a big piece as they allowed the nba to bully them into colangelo. Hinkie also has some blame where he drafted okafor who was a dinosaur in this era (granted also rumor sixers ownership wanted okafor and not porzingis like he wanted cause they didn’t want a tank year to show for nothing). Colangelo pissing away assets in trading up for fultz and taking Simmons over Ingram (hindsight on the Simmons makes it look worse now). Ownership giving way too much power to Brett. Then Brett brown and brand making dumb decisions with cap space and trading away bridges. And now morey only zeroing in on harden finished it off.

The reality is this is the culmination of bad ownership along with bad decision makers over a 5 to 6 year window that has led to the roster and purgatory you see right now.

No, because he’s just not that good and I doubt he ever will be. He’s just not as awful Jordan. I’ve never understood the Reed hype.

They aren’t wrong that they need a star. The problem is the instead traded for a (rapidly) falling star.

F Reed...how about Bassey?  Or Isiah Joe?  Or any young players that had enough young legs to actually, you know, go get a rebound?  Miami has what..like f'ing 6 undrafted players playing and playing well?

Who is realistically available for Tobi and Matisse? We saw the major regression in Matisse but the rest of the league is always a year behind. Tobi had a good last season and decent playoffs this season.
