Can we just state the obvious? Donovan Mitchell is easily the most overrated player in the league. Guy is 69th in PER (OK, that's funny, but still).

http://insider.espn.com/nba/hollinger/statistics/_/page/2/qualified/false

Guy scores because he is a ball hog that takes a ton of shots and is horribly inefficient. Doesn't rebound, doesn't play defense, and is a whiny little beeotch. He takes 20.1 shots per game and shoots 42%; the 6 guys who shoot more are MUCH more efficient. People act like he is a borderline all NBA guy, and he probably shouldn't even be an all-star.

So Shaq wasn't wrong saying that Mitchell isn't that good? Lol.

morey needs to decide whether or not to go all in this season.  we'll never see a better jojo than what we're seeing right now. if they ever want to win with him, it might be time to package green, scott, maxey, picks, etc & see what you can get.  perfect world, you keep shake & mattise.

Last night showed it needs to happen now so the team can gel asap and Doc can set and play with rotations.

I'd do it

Kyle Lowry's homecoming

Philadelphia 76ers get: Kyle Lowry

Toronto Raptors get: Andre Drummond, Tyrese Maxey, 2021 first-round pick from Philadelphia (unprotected), 2023 first-round pick from Philadelphia (lottery protected, becomes two second-round picks if not conveyed)

Cleveland Cavaliers get: Danny Green, Mike Scott, Terrance Ferguson, 2024 second-round pick from Miami (via Philadelphia)

The details: In an Eastern Conference race that is wide open, the 76ers could desperately use another dynamic two-way player. Bringing Lowry, a North Philadelphia native, back home could be the difference-making move that results in the 76ers' return to the NBA Finals for the first time in 20 years.

Yes, Lowry, a pending free agent, is going to turn 35 the day of the NBA trade deadline. And yes, giving up multiple first-round picks and a young player in Maxey would be difficult.

But it's a move Philadelphia should make. The 76ers add a proven playoff performer who would give coach Doc Rivers flexibility in how he deploys Ben Simmons. With Lowry's Bird rights, the Sixers could either extend him before the season ends or re-sign him this summer.

For other contenders, like the LA Clippers, the difficulty in trading for Lowry comes with both making the cap math work (Lowry makes $30.5 million this season) and giving Toronto something it needs in return. This trade accomplishes both.

Maxey and the picks will help Toronto add to its core of Fred VanVleet, Pascal Siakam and OG Anunoby moving forward. Green, Scott and Ferguson all have expiring deals that can be rerouted to Cleveland so the Raptors can add Drummond, shoring up their center position without taking on long-term money.

The Cavaliers would recoup the second-round pick they gave up to acquire Drummond last season.

I thought you were talking about Simmons and think most of us were.

Who did they aka BB keep instead. Just came to post this.

Wasted money on Al Horford, Mike Scott, Raul Neto and Trey Burke

Also traded for Richardson

He's leading the entire NBA as DPOY.....WTF are you talking about??

He is a POS in the playoffs who will wilt like he always does and is irrelevant in a half court offensive game. WTF are you talking about? Teams will take Embiid away and if Harris is cold they will lose.

If they want to win trade his ass while the value is high and get a real piece like Beal. Some of you fall for the same crap from him every year. He looks great in February and March and then everyone is correctly wanting his ass gone again after he doesn't nothing in the playoffs.

With a some back channel assurance from his agent that he would be playing here beyond this year, I’d probably do that.

I wonder if the Pelican’s are still looking to move Lonzo Ball this year and what that would cost.

Celtics are trying to get vucevic

Supposedly not.  But are still open to moving JJ and Bledsoe.

What about Jerami Grant as an upgrade over Danny Green?

it sounds like he is available....  Throwing in a protected first?

He seems like a perfect fit.  Never would thought they'd want to trade him.

I’d love to get Ellington. Hes from the area and i swear every time the sixers should go after him when he is bought out (he’s usually not expensive as well)they just don’t then he winds up playing decent elsewhere (except the one recent year with the Knicks). He’s exactly what they could use from their 5th starter or bench guy.

Love this one.  Gives us a few more years with the core to make multiple runs.  For this year, I think this might catapult us over the Nets.

I want to say One of the National nba analyst that came on 973 espn said he doesn’t believe the pistons would trade him. Also put out here he’s a buyer beware where he’s never been this great in his 8 year career til this year. Could be the pistons suck it’s a player who puts up great numbers on a bad team but really isn’t nearly as good as those numbers suggest if you put him elsewhere. I’ll try to find the interview. They discussed it like 2-3 weeks ago

I really don't see the Pistons moving Grant.

It's somewhere in between.  Putting up 23.4 on a garbage team but you can see he has skills.  His stats are way overblown sure but he could come to us and give us a solid 17-18 points a game at least I would imagine.  If you look at his stats from last season, he was scoring 12 less ppg game but he was also playing 10 less minutes.

Grant has been steadily improving the last few years.  He didn’t put up a ton of points on the Nuggets because he was coming off the bench.

Yeah, bench players often score less than starters.   Hmmmm
