It's somewhere in between.  Putting up 23.4 on a garbage team but you can see he has skills.  His stats are way overblown sure but he could come to us and give us a solid 17-18 points a game at least I would imagine.  If you look at his stats from last season, he was scoring 12 less ppg game but he was also playing 10 less minutes.

Kind of feel like if he comes here with Embiid, harris, curry and Simmons he’s likely to see it go down to more like 15-16 points. Which is fine cause that’s basically what you need especially if you also got Ellington in the deal. I’m not sold that the pistons really want to deal him.

grant is more of a 3-4. the sixers need a 1-2, imo. someone who can defend smaller guards, run the offense when needed, and make a few threes.

Even if he averages 16 and you add Ellington without giving up Thybulle, we could take the Nets to 7 games.  You can stagger those guys and get Scott and Korkmaz off the court.

Would still have your 8.2 million trade exception. Could likely get another bench guy to take both out of the rotation.

They need a wing scorer pretty badly. Green has scored 10 or more points in 4 of the last 10 games.

I think Grant will cost everything the Sixers have and not worth it to me especially since his best role is where Harris plays.

Thybulle should have filled Green's spot but since he can't shot at all he is a bench guy. I honestly might try him to start as long as Simmons is aggressive and hope Thybulle can knock down a few open looks.

George Hill or Patty Mills for Scott, exception, and some protected first. (Can't trade Ferguson back to the Thunder)

Still got Green, Ferguson, Shake, Maxey and/or firsts for bigger deal.

I hope Morey offered a deal for Rose because Knicks got him for peanuts, Dennis Smith and a 2nd.

Houston Rockets forward P.J. Tucker is reportedly expected to end up with the Philadelphia 76ers this season.

According to Tom Haberstroh of TrueHoop, "several rival executives" believe Tucker will either get traded to the Sixers for a second-round pick or sign with Philly after getting bought out.

Tucker is a prime candidate to be moved since he can become a free agent at the end of the season and the Rockets are 14th in the Western Conference at 11-23.

The 35-year-old Tucker is in the midst of his fourth season with the Rockets and his 10th NBA season overall after previously playing for the Toronto Raptors and Phoenix Suns.

It’s better if he’s bought out cause then the sixers would still have the 8.2 million trade exception. In order to trade for him that has to be used or send matching salaries which i guess could be done

Is he any good? What role would he play here?

3 & D

basically stands in the corner on offense but plays solid d.

Tuckers role would be guard Durant while Simmons guards Harden and thybulle guards kyrie.

He's done.  Put a fork in him.

Not a Blake guy but would take him over Tucker at this stage. 30 minutes a game and scores 4.4ppg

It would be for his defense.  Add other guys for offense.  Take Kork and Scott out of the rotation.

Still better numbers than Tucker and advanced numbers. He is a back up 4 that could play 15 minutes a game.

Blake has better advanced defensive numbers than Tucker.

Neither guy offers offense but Tucker can give you decent defense.

Tucker D’d up LeBron and AD in the playoffs 6 months ago. Given all that has gone down in Houston in those months, I definitely question whether he is giving everything he has this year.

Nets bringing back lob city seniors edition.

really as a fourth option that’s actually a hell of a pickup.

Yeah forgot about him. not sure how the sixers (or really any team) beats that team without getting another star or someone on the nets goes down.

I look at it as bench help for pretty much nothing, which is what they need. Good start and hope they keep going.

How are you an Eagles and Nets fan?  Just curious.
