Everyone wants to say he slowed down KD but KD averaged 35.4ppg in the series. Riley made a mistake on that one 

Danny will probably just go to the Lakers now.

Almost every player beside the Bam and Duncan Robinson is old. After next year all those guys could fall off a cliff and owe them a ton of money.

Lakers paying westbrook, AD and Lebron a ton of money really can’t offer him all that much. The sixers realistically could offer him more. It would come down to if he rather be in LA or here making more money.

He did unload horford’s bad contract   Honestly one of the worst moves they made during all this was spending their final year with significant cap space on him

Correct. Also, partly, been blocked by Doc.

However, despite the underwhelming trade value Brand has gotten, he deserves a TON of credit right now for wanting to trade Simmons (and being blocked by ownership) like 2 or 3 years ago. He was right. Some of us knew it at the time. Morey and Doc wasted another whole year. Let his value further diminish. And are just not going to get anywhere near what they are asking.

Now if we have all of our FA targets sign elsewhere, and still have Simmons in camp its a huuuuuge failure for Morey. He should be desperate to trade him. The longer this goes towards the start of the season, the more teams will sense that desperation and take advantage leveraging that against him in negotiations. 

Simmons better improve his foul shots and outside shots because he's going to be on the team this season. If he does, maybe we can trade him at the trade deadline. 

How do we feel about a McCollum/Covington trade and a S&T for DeRozan?

Its going to require taking less than people hope and expect for Ben. But you have a legit back court to pair with Embiid.
