I didn't want him last year when the rumor was we were trying to get him.  So ....no thanks.

Well then he is dumb too. If anyone knows that this level of play from him is not guaranteed next year it should be him. 

Redick on his podcast said they should make a trade rather than wasting this year of Embiid. 

He's sometime,  along with TJ McConnel who spoke glowingly about Simmons at PG.

So it's coming from someone who values Ben, saying they should just make a deal already.

Embiid and Maxey are pretty much the only thing worth watching with this current roster. Maybe Curry when he’s on a hot shooting streak. 
 

If Embiid wasn’t playing at an insane level right now they’d be in serious trouble. 

Still not as bad as the Horford year

if morey really does this, he's the dumbest gm we ever had because they were other stars that could have been dealt for him, it's all about his ego and certain players he wants like that's not the way to win because he's wasting embiid's talent.

They probably win a ring if they got him instead of the Nets. 

But ever since his hammy injury, he hasn't tried to work himself back into old Harden and it shows. The stats are deceiving.

uhh...i think the most complementary thing i've said about harden is that even though i can't stand him or his playing style, he would be a better fit than simmons because of his shooting & ability to create. 

i sure as sheet wasn't all fired up about getting him.   

Agreed - however he was still fat last year and likely still would have gotten hurt as a result of it.

Hard to say. The Nets were playing 37 mins a game which is just too much. Embiid still only plays 33 minutes a game.

I do as well. I know there’s a lot of rumors out there that him and morey are close and so are his people. I’m guessing that’s 100% true. I was told by a ASU basketball booster that he would also prefer if possible to be on the West Coast. 

somewhat off-topic as well but if James Harden wants to leave the nets its very unlikely but still possible Ben Simmons isn’t the guy in a sign and trade in that deal. There’s a slim and small chance that you can pull off a sign and trade with Tobias Harris and Danny Green going to the nets. And then using Ben Simmons in another trade to get pieces around those embiid and harden. Likely the nets would settle for Harris and green in a sign and trade? Highly unlikely. But still interesting to talk about

As good as I know that they are, I have apprehension regarding the acquisition of Harden, Beal or Dame.  Beal probably concerns me the least out of the three though.

An undersized guard who is starting to break down and is owed 42.4, 45.6, and 47.8 million still. I would take my chances on Harden over Dame at this point.

I'd love this but I think there is a zero percent chance of the Celtics ever trading Brown to the Sixers, even if they did eventually decide to trade him.
