I think we could have Cox and Kelce replacements in here already(we shall see) but we can see the moves have been made. Secondary got a big help today,so its all on Hurts. Actually although he is not my dream QB he may do well now,but if we can hit the playoffs that will be the big test since we have the easiest schedule AGAIN

If it doesn't click now.   They will move on.

Goal should be to push for the bye week now.  Idk how they don't beat Dallas.  You matchup Slay and Bradberry vs Lamb and Gallup... the front looks good vs the run.  Our offense should pose more problems for them than they do for us.

On Bradberry;

The deal will pay him $7.5 million, including $7.25 million guaranteed, and has another $2.5 million in upside, bringing the total possible value of the deal to $10 million, a source told ESPN's Adam Schefter. Eleven teams reached out about Bradberry after he was released by the New York Giants on May 9, with that number being whittled down to three before Bradberry chose the Eagles, according to Schefter.

There are two NFL players since 2016 with 15+ interceptions and 80+ pass breakups:

Darius Slay
James Bradberry

I think both will be fine, then we can concentrate on QB if need be,although a case could be made we already have that guy on our team

So in 48 games ...Adams missed 9...and the Packers won 39....   48-9 =39.   Can you show the results in the 9 games that he missed to further explain?   What was the record and what were the scores.   Context matters.

OK, Apparently he only missed 7 games in total. He did play in others but did not start. In the 7 games he did not play the Packers were 7-0. Obviously he was missed.....

Welp you know I was bishing this whole time since the draft, so I am extremely happy we made this move. Also believe one of the so called CB's we UDFA'd can emerge as a possible S. Time will tell

Suspect Geodert will do lots of damage vs them

I expect a huge year from Geodert. Probably the most under rated TE in NFL.....

Ehhh.  It's ok... he is new so you don't know how he will fit in.   Similar to AJ Brown...he just might not fit in as well as Reagor.  So many questions.

Reagor can shine AJ's street shoes during the game

Agreed BG

To me this was the offseason puzzle. The really dreadful guys expect their pick to be high. So they a hard to trade. Had to find a guy that thinks he’s better than he is. They’ve made several acquisitions this offseason for sure to help them out.

I can honestly say... I don't understand a word of that?

And we get a free comp pick next year when we inevitably don't re-sign him

We wanted to trade back a first round pick this year for next year. The Jets, Lions and other perennial terrible teams don’t want to trade their picks expecting them to be high. So we needed to find a team that thinks they’re better than they are. Is that the Saints? That was the offseason puzzle for Rosie to sort out.

Reading the Saints may be better than what people originally thought. Didn't look into why, just something I read in a few places.

You got a 3rd round this year plus a 2nd round 2024.   If you don't make that trade you have to give up the pick uses to get Dean.

So if Dean is considered a 1st round talent... then the trade got you Dean... plus a 2024 2nd rounder.....  that was the cost of swapping 1sts this year to next year.

You don't like that?  There was a player for you in this year's draft at pick 16 that you would give up for that?

Looking back at the draft, we gave up a bunch of later round picks to move up two spots. Now, imagine if we decided to stay put. IF Baltimore decides to take Davis, we end up with the best safety in the draft. That would make our back 7 one of the best in football. If Baltimore decides to draft Hamilton, we still get Davis and have all of those picks to acquire more players. It is a win win situation.

Who was the player we goofed that was a better choice than Dean, a first next year and a 2nd in 2024?

Hamilton went 14... so this is pick 16 or lower.   Who is the guy we missed out on worth all that?    You make that trade EVERY year.

Hamilton could have went to Houston.  Let's not forget that.   Without the trade we probably miss out on both guys.

If that is the case, we trade back and draft Wyatt. Not a huge step back from Davis. He is not as good against the run, but much better against the pass.
