You mean 10%?  Unless they call 600 plays a game.

I was hoping he was joking with the bad math 🙂

I bet he wasn't

Anyone else think Minshew looked like Koy/Ty Detmer out there?

Wouldn't know Nick wouldn't let him pass it. (Probably didn't want to start a qb controversy)

I agree about the conclusion about Detroit, they are an awful team but Campbell seems to ignore what is working for him.  The Lions left plays on the field.

But I drove home through the VA mountains yesterday listening to the Things You Missed in History Class podcasts so as not to get any spoiler alerts and after trick or treaters were done for the night, sat down with my DVR and watched the game oblivious of the outcome.  Saw some improvements from the Eagles in increments today.  I think that is what we want to see from this team.

I wonder if the game may be starting to slow some for Hurts. There were a couple of plays where he adjusted in the pocket and threw.  On two of his runs, it was obvious that there was more yardage to be gained by the green that Detroit was offering him.   Still very much a work in progress, but got to notice the good with the bad and some of his early abandonment of the pocket and happy feet was bad. Goff looked worse because he can’t run.

Solid play by Goedert and Stoll is making advancements as well, especially inline as a blocker.

Nice to see my guy Scott get some carries.  Surprised at the lack of RB screens. Scott should be part of the rotation and so should Howard.  No need to rush back Sanders.  Tough running by all three backs today. Dickerson is a load as a run blocker but I also think Herbig is getting more used to his weight loss. Solid OL play today by both lines.  But I also saw a couple of good pass protection blocks by Scott.  He may be short but he isn’t tiny. Really loved, what we used to call mole runs  by Gainwell where he gained extra yards by making a whole below the defenders, who were engaged with the second string OL.  Detroit is awful against the run but this is something to build on.  It was refreshing to see some under center play and some motion.  Sirianni is still building his offense but I liked some of the things I saw today.  Looking forward to the all 22.

On defense, it was great to see Sweat get those sacks. Even Kerrigan and Jackson looked good.  Nice to see some blitzes.  Thought Taylor looked okay and Edwards breasted.  Slay continues to play pro bowl level ball.  Need to really study the All 22 because I think Detroit’s ineptitude hid from us the quality of defensive play. Looking forward to watching that back up secondary.  Maddox is playing like a player in a contract year. Ss, McLeod has lost a step, and while I like Epps as a third S, we should upgrade at FS.  BTW, Harris was not missed at all and not having Wilson shy from contact was refreshing. Detroit left plays and Campbell was bad at play calling.

All in all, the Eagles left Detroit with their kneecaps intact.

Which ones of his 9 passes were those "couple"

The New Orleans game is going to become winnable now.  Winston might be done.

Taysom Hill is going to want revenge for last year.

It is recommended by the AMA to replace the language on the left with that on the right.

This is just one example of interjecting politics into statements of fact.

Derrick Henry potentially done for the year.  Reason #364 not to build your offense around a RB.

Unfortunately, our current offense is built around a RB.

Our offense isn’t even built. It’s in construction.

Slightly improves, their D is still pretty good, and Payton will want his revenge.

I doubt he plays. Missing over a month with a concussion is scary stuff.

My favorite part is the 'among others'... but doesn't mention who those 'others' are.  And whomever they are... they were just "othered".  :nonono:

Thoughts on the game...

1. Sitting Eric Wilson and establishing a downhill running game -- two things that should've been done weeks ago. Keep playing Edwards and Davion. Promote Jordan Howard and run him 15 times a game.

2. Encouraging to see Sirianni and Gannon make adjustments. Preach adjusting to personnel? Practice that then. They did that yesterday. Reagor was actually used properly before he got hurt. We saw the downhill running game. We saw blitzes and aggression from the defense. Keep it up.

3. I want more of Hurts under center. We saw less of the RPO crap yesterday and it worked. Let these RBs build up a head of steam. Give Hurts some easy handoffs where he doesn't have to constantly process things. Take some deep shots to the speed guys to keep the defense honest. This can be a competitive team that produces watchable football, but you gotta keep playing to the strength of the players. Can't say it enough.

4. The Lions are bad all-around. Bad players, bad coaching. No easy answers there.

Whoa

Rams seem to be all-in for this season.  I don't blame them, but they are due for a significant dip as a result of these moves.

Where do the Rams keep getting draft picks from?

I'm officially jumping off the Winston to Eagles 2022 bandwagon. It was a fun, solo ride.

Rams going all in.  They have a very legitimate shot at it this year.
