Yes he's over that, but that wasn't the original point.

Awful. Having all day football with 1 PM, 4 PM and prime time on Saturday and Sunday on wildcard weekend was so nice and now the NFL has ruined it.

Yes, the NFL has ruined something that has only happened once.  I am sure you were probably against an extra wild card team when they made that change in November of 2020.

I think nearly every NFL player sustains a significant injury at some point in their career. Just off the top of my head, I really can't think of any who have avoided it.

Edit: Larry Fitzgerald is the only recent one that I can think of

Surprisingly , Eli Manning

Yes that's another one. I think Favre too, never had a significant injury that required IR.

James Jones' bold prediction is for Zeke to score 3 TDs on Monday night

There would be lots of surly folks in here if that one came in.

Did you not enjoy all day playoff football on Saturday and Sunday?  Maybe you don't hold a job, but I'd prefer that game on a Saturday than late night on a Monday.

East coast problems.  5:15 PM on the West Best Coast.

Well for Eagles fans that are actually local the previous setup was better.

Didn't know 4for4 is a Carolinian too. Will have to check that out lol.

Not sure what to expect from that game. If CMC is out, definitely helps the Eagles chances. But Carolina is surprisingly good on both sides of the ball. Rhule has them firing on all cylinders.

Gonna get hammered at the tailgate. Buddy of mine has a RV and we are going all out for it. His fiance has agreed to be the DD. Already took the next day off from work. It is going down!

Carolina's biggest weakness is their o-line.  Darnold is OK but lacks pocket awareness.  I'm driving down and back that day from Greensboro.  So I don't plan on getting hammered for the game.  I may have a beer or two.

Yeah, I knew why you liked it.  But the world only revolves around EST.

I dunno man, premier sports programming starting between 5 and 6 PM PST tells a different story.

I thought for sure you were going to ask when confinement to a mental institution meant "holding a job"

@4for4EaglesNest looks like bacarty has taken both of us off ignore.  I lost count, how much money does he owe us now ??

The money slot in programming is 9 pm.  Not 5 or 6 when most people are either coming home from work or eating dinner.  You know, for us working folks.

F that.  I am an early riser, and struggle to make it through games that start at 7 PM PST.

I honestly don't know how you guys make it to 1 PM waiting for the first game on Sunday.  10 am is perfect for kick off.  Usually have a chicken fried steak breakfast cooked up by 10 and sit down and eat as games kick off.

If I ate that for breakfast, I wouldn't make it long either.

Glorious start to the day.

Emmitt Smith but I am sure he had some missed games.  I don't think he every had a season ending injury.

Solid ideas I never liked the mess that Vaseline makes and didn't matter what shirt I wore after 6 ish miles I got bleeding nips

I have only done one half.  I usually run about 10 to 12 miles a week.  I am usually fine if it's less than 5 miles.  If I am running more than 5 miles I definitely need something.

All NFL players get hurt. The "he can’t stay healthy” thing shouldn’t apply to NFL players IMO. Large men running into each other at high rates of speed over and over usually has some sort of consequences.

NBA and MLB players are fair game.

You wouldn't say that there aren't some players that are more prone than others?  And some that seem to be more durable?

Deacon Jones

Eagles legend Frank Gore went from injury prone in college to one of the most durable guys in the league. That's a weird one you don't see often.

Been watching a series in Hulu called,

" Dark side of Football".

Episode 6 is about Fanatics and covers Philadelphia cowboys rivaly, John Clark, Chad Lewis, Darren spoles Sean landeta are featured commentary, along with Tony Casillas and a few other cowboy turds.

Episode 3 covered belichicks cheating scandals is a good watch.

Id recommend the series to anyone whose a football fan.

After the success of Dark Side of the Ring, these types of documentaries are more and more popular.
