Well he was only targeted once, so

And theres not a chance some dude can just walk onto the field and contribute.  See: JJAW, Hightower, literally every other WR weve drafted

IMO, hes finally got the speed of the game down.  Hes not dropping easy passes.  He's just having to learn a new offense now and theyre figuring it out.   Clearly, hes got some burst to go with being pretty strong for his size, and we don't have a ton of that

Meh.  He caught a flanker screen.  I'd be curious to find out how he did getting open (targeted or not) on actual routes he ran.  Two of the last three games he's been largely invisible, save for the running out of bounds against the 49ers.

2 rec for 5 yards against the 49ers.
1 rec for 9 yards on a flanker screen, and 1 carry for 12 yards on an end around.

I'd like to see him develop more as a route runner before declaring that things have slowed down for him.  He does seem to be running with more confidence with the ball, but that makes him more of a RB than a WR.  He needs to run routes effectively.

Smith (10 targets) and Watkins (7 targets) were also running deeper routes.  Reagor remains a disappointment for now.  He's got time to prove he belongs, but as a first round pick, he's been very disappointing.   Not to keep bringing him up, but Justin Jefferson had better production against just Seattle this year than Reagor has had in 4 games.  Reagor needs to actually step up and produce.

You sure?

Im not saying hes a HoF, Im saying hes worthy of playing on our team and hes not garbage.   You need role players, its OK if all of our 22 starters arent Pro Bowlers.

When your former first round pick is a role player... that's not good.

They did trade two first round picks and a second for Bill Bergey.

Wasn't that 1974 or something like that?

Top Reasons I think Lane was out...

1) Lane yelled at/****ed out someone on the coaching staff

2) Failed a drug test

3) Some type of Covid-esk type deal

That would have been reported.  It was reported he asked for leave due to a personal matter.   I would take that to mean like a death in his family.  If it was one of the other 3, they are required to disclose it.

Dude’s gotta go.

Let's take a look at Hurts and Wentz through 4 games:

Hurts: 66.2%, 1,167 yards, 7 TD passes, 2 INT, 8.0 YPA, 101.1 QB rating, 226 rushing yards and 1 rushing TD.

Wentz: 63.8%, 920 yards, 5 TD passes, 1 INT, 6.7 YPA, 92.1 QB rating, 68 rushing yards and 0 rushing TDs.

They are both 1-3 QBs and neither should be with the Eagles.

Howie's great offseason acquisition.

WTF was that ??  Didn't @austinfan give Howie credit for this great signing ??

You're right.

That and Seattle, LA, Tennessee and the Dolphins are a bit more challenging defensively than Atlanta, SF, Dallas and KC.

Heres what I truly believe...

If he wasn't a Howie guy he'd see a lot less snaps than Quez

If he played for a normal team(meaning a decent WR core) he may already be cut.

At the end of the day, the only reason Reagor is still seeing significant playing time is because the General Manager doesnt want to make a mistake while playing with the worst WR core in the league.

Maybe youre right regarding draft position and snap counts, and that wouldnt even be that strange in the NFL...and Quez is certainly flashing.

But hes still not consistent either though.

Does 3 catches for 33 yards on 7 targets blow you away? Those were Quez' numbers yesterday.  So youre talking snaps but in terms of targets he got more than Reagor

Is he healthy yet?   Has he broken the sound barrier yet?

He'd be a great guy to cut to open up a comp pick.

But no comp picks this year 😞

Singleton did a worse job.  I think he was supposed to fill the cut back lane and he basically did react until Edwards-Helaire was about 5 yards downfield.  Wilson I think read the hole where the run was supposed to go and just over pursued it.

Nick Sirianni is turning in to that kid who like the Yankees, Lakers, Cowboys and Notre Dame but just with Philly sports teams.

How soon until we see a Union jersey?

But how many of those 7 were catchable?

That's like asking if a glass with 3 holes drilled in the bottom is better than a glass with 4 holes.   They both suck and can't perform the function they are supposed to.

He was on the injury report but was listed as a full participant. I think we'll see him next week. Hopefully we will anyway. These two Singleton and Wilson just aren't good enough. Both were undrafted and I think we are seeing why.

Pretty much a waste of time even engaging.  Hard to think of any NFL teams that cut a first round pick at the beginning of their second season, unless the player is on his way to prison.

Meh... nothing wrong with him reppin' the hometown teams.  He's in no way front running with these teams.   They are all pathetic, just like his.   Maybe he feels a kindred spirit connection to them all.

Eagles cut Bruce Walker (2nd round pick) coming out of TC his rookie year.  He was given #92 to wear at first in training camp, before Lurie caught it and had him change.
