Why would he be back with the team?  Wouldn't he be with his family?  I does seem kinda weird or someone is lying about something.

Someone is lying about what exactly? The only thing we know is that he went to Oklahoma and then he returned due to a complex medical situation for a family member.   I am sure at some point there may or may not be be more details on it. It's not a Fing conspiracy.

He's an entertainer whose salary is paid via the fans watching the league and buying merchandise so it is our business when he has missed a game and will likely miss another even though he is back with the team.

No, it's not.

He went to Chipotle for lunch... or was it Taco Bell?

Big boy like him probably had both

Maybe he drove and didn’t fly just to cool off and gave himself time before he got there because he didn’t want to strangle somebody, no one knows it’s a personal family matter that must be serious because he doesn’t like missing games.  Dude played last year on a collapsed ankle for a garbage team. Hopefully whomever it involved is doing fine, or soon will be, so he can get back to playing.

Actually is the fans business if he is missing a second game despite being back with the team.

It's the team's business why he's not playing, and they chose to respect his privacy and not tell you.   So, your beef is with the team, not the player.  They are the ones denying your request for more information.  He isn't obligated to inform fans or the media of his going's on.  He is obligated to inform his employer.

Wait for it -- it's right at the end.   RIP .... everyone but Rossington I guess ....

He very well may have donated bone marrow for a family member.   We don't know anything, and we don't need to know.  He's likely out.  That's all that matters.   For me though, the weirdest part is that he was apparently driving to Oklahoma.  Why not fly?  That's the weirdest part for me.   But, none of this is our business.  Frankly, we don't need to know the injuries players are dealing with either.  Why do we need to know if it's a ACL tear or a mild strain?  We don't.  All we need to know as fans is if the player will play or not.

Calm down Karen.  Before this latest tweet we didn't know what this personal leave was in reference too.

It didn’t take a rocket surgeon to figure out it was a pressing family issue.

Holy hell are people still going on about this? Lol. People just want to know so they can decide if it's justified or not in their minds.

As an employer I figured something out a long time ago ..... It.Does.Not.Matter.Why.

You won't be here.  I need to fill your position.  Just tell me when you'll be back so I can plan accordingly.

It used to drive me nuts when employees would leave long-winded excuses on my voicemail.  I'd tell them "just cough into the phone and say you won't be in -- the rest doesn't matter.  When you've missed too much time I'll find someone else."

Exactly, I've been in that position. All I need to know, like you said are you coming in or not. It's yes or no stop wasting my time!

Oh boy

Also weird they call Slay a Safety

Oh no.  @RememberTheKoy is gonna have an aneurism if he does not get answers on all these personal matters.

One of the good things about being older and growing up in the South was getting to see all the southern rockers before they all started passing away.

Doesn't explain why he won't be playing Sunday if he is already back with the team.

You will never get the explanation, and it is none of your business.

One of my staff, however, insists on sending me a detailed email with all of the things that are keeping her out of work despite my insistence that she doesn't need to do so.   I will say that work from home has alleviated a ton of PTO issues.

I talked to Lane.  He asked me not to tell you why because it's personal.

Okay you can stop replying to me.  You're a broken record and I don't care you're saying.

Well from the latest report it sounds like Lane wants to play but the team won't let him.
