Adams has been injured and will be 30 next year. Major risk for the Raiders, but I can see your point.

I guess the Packers could double dip at WR in the 1st 2 rounds. Build out a deeper group since it's less likely they'll have one stud playmaker next year.

I’d be surprised if someone like landry or obj doesn’t go there. I wouldn’t be shocked if DK or Lockett are dealt to Gb either.

it’s a risk for Vegas but i think they view it as either status quo or make a bold move to try to compete. With carr being 31 i don’t think just status quo or rebuild was likely. To their credit at least they didn’t give up future picks

Watson causing at least 2 teams to burn bridges with their current QB is hilarious.

How did they get fleeced? The absolute max they could get would be 2 1sts

They essentially got 2 firsts.  The second first would have to be next year,  and waiting a year moves the pick up a round, so a first in 2022 and a first in 2023 is essentially the same value as a first and second both in 2022.  GB could look to flip that second for a future 1 if they really want that first... just need a team looking to make a splash this year, or find out how to get a team to channel Bobby Beathard... he made those trades all the time.

So what is the next move in the AFC West arms race ??  Chiefs trading their entire draft for Aaron Donald ??

Pitre will be a S. So essentially no CB. That drops it to an F for me.

I guess going to the AFC is the part that is surprising, esp the Raiders.  The AFC West will be punching itself out all season against each other; good for the other teams I suppose.

Carr was his college QB. They’re really close.

The last 2 years I’ve demoted Eagles to iPad. They’re boring and can’t hold my attention for more than a few minutes at a time. Whatever I find most fun to watch gets the big screen.

Find a new team.

Yes.

Something happened behind the doors. You don't willfully leave an MVP that gets you top WR stats to go play with someone else

I'm not saying Carr sucks but to go from Rodgers to Carr... I bet his stats take a tumble

See above.

Wow.  Wayyyy too much for a WR.  Raiders are dumb.

Frankly I think the Raiders got caught between a rock and a hard place in this division. Because if you just went status quo and just use those picks you’re likely not getting two players that are going to allow you to catch up to the Chiefs, chargers with the moves they made or the Broncos either. And they don’t have a division that’s going to get easier next year or the year after or the year after with mahomes and herbert being young. You’re probably finishing in fourth place. And the Raiders haven’t exactly been great using their high draft picks either. Really that division is not getting any easier

I understand what you’re saying. I wouldn’t have made that move. But I kind of think they were going to get Fed either way due to the division.

Cox to KC

A lot of folks seem to think the Packers got fleeced. I disagree.

They got a 1, a 2, and a ton of cap space in exchange for a receiver who’ll be 30 before the end of next season.

If he didn’t want to play in GB, it was a good deal for them

I'm guessing Odell lands in Green Bay and I'm sure they'll draft a WR in the first round.

Can Odell stay healthy?

Agreed. They see the other teams in their division and got trigger happy.

It’s going to be depressing when we have to pay Pascal $6 - $7M

I wouldn't bet on it, but at least a team will get him at a reduced salary because of it.

That would be a complete and total waste

Davante Adams is widely considered one of the best WRs in the NFL as he leads the league in receiving TDs the last 2 years and is within 90 yards of leading in that category as well. These stats were possible because he’s played with the back-to-back MVP throwing him the football.

Derek Carr has a career 7.1 yards per attempt as TE’s have led his team in receiving for 4 of the last 5 seasons. Additionally, he has not thrown for even 30 TDs in 7 years. These stats are possible because he is Derek Carr.

One of these two things will change dramatically in 2022.

Is the Pro Bowl gonna be the AFC West against the other 7 divisions?

We didn’t even make the division notes section…

Maybe the eagles released the nfc east to save cap room

He’s giving Howie time to make that DK Metcalf trade, so we can get back in the race

Probably not going to happen but I wonder at what point someone pulls their offer

Oh no, Carolina didn’t get a rose!

Matt Rhule's chance to keep his job basically went out the window with Watson.

He's only 26... lots of upside left.

He can still improve!  It's basically his Junior year!  He has shown progress every season!

ATTENTION

The bill is due for the EMB in April! That's next month!

While at this point we have raised sufficient funds, much of that money was still surplus from our original crowd sourcing project when this place was founded originally almost 3 years ago. We had enough then to pay for the board for 2 years, AND have a chunk left over for year 3.  But what that means is that we have had little to no monetary support from nearly all of our members during all that time in the interim. That resulted in needing a bit of an awareness campaign to show members the "Store" tab and re-introduce the affiliate links to members who forgot, or somehow missed them initially.

With a few clutch gofundme donations and solid success raising awareness of the links, we have seen a boost in usage of the amazon link earning the funding to support the boards for another year.

However, after this bill is paid, and going in to year 4, we will not have that surplus funding anymore. This time, we will be starting from almost $0.

In my opinion it is still important to make the gofundme donation. We only have 11 total donations! Thats not encouraging for the sustainability of this place.

I am planning to make a gofundme donation a yearly task that I will do each March, with the bills due in April. I humbly ask that anyone who can,  please do the same. Lets raise some money now so that we don't need to worry about it leading up to next year's due date.

A small donation from a lot of people this March, and next March should go a long way towards ensuring the sustainability of this EMB for years to come. Id love to see it not be a yearly struggle so lets all do our small part.
