It makes zero sense to bring Cox back

Right because there’s undoubtedly going to someone available to provide the same level of production

...almost 3 years ago. We had enough then to pay for the board for 2 years, AND have a chunk left over for year 3.

I was wondering where the donations were generating from, got multiple tonight.

We're actually going to turn 2 in April. But we pay up front for hosting, so year 1 was paid for in 2020 (2020 to 2021), year 2 in 2021 (2021 to 2022) and now year 3 (2022 to 2023) will be paid for on April 15th. So we'll have paid for 3 years, but we're turning 2. But yes, we had enough from the first fundraiser for 2 and about a third years.

Right now, the boards bank account has enough for this coming year and almost enough (I think) for the following year (once tonight's donations are deposited).

Plus we have the various revenue methods working for us, which adds to the pot each month. If we keep working Amazon on our pace, that'll add about $500 by the end of the year. I wish I could use the affiliate link too, but that's forbidden. lol

Turns 30 in April.

Zero interest. No one over 30 makes sense.

How could we possiblly find someone to match his 30 tackles and 3 sacks?!

15 million to rent him for a year, a year in which we won’t be contenders. Sounds silly to me. We have an out right now - leave it that way.

Trade him to the Chiefs for fun

Defensive production isn’t solely based on sacks. He’s still a good player that would start on any other team.

Who cares if he’s overpaid. It’s not like overpaying him is preventing us from getting a good QB

Damn I missed Robinson signing with the Rams

Done. @VaBeach_Eagle is it possible to create an account we could fund directly to without a go fund me contribution?

I could look into setting up a PayPal account. There may be other methods, too, that I'm not familiar with.

PayPal or Venmo should work

Trade him to GB. Give them a note when he arrives. Sorry rodgers about Adams. But here’s a State Farm discount double check at WR

I'm not familiar with Venmo, but I assume they charge the same amount as the rest (which is something like 3%).

Someone probably knows better than me but at least for small transactions there is no charge as long as you choose the 2-3 day transfer period instead of immediate availability

Who are you saying is refusing to donate?   People do that when they know.  Now they know.  WTF are you talking about?

Dude man you need to chill out a bit. Congratulations on being the first person (in over 20 years on EMB) to make my ignore list!

Venmo is super easy.  You can place the QR code for the account on this board to make it easier for the donors.

Adams is good, very good, but I’ve never seen him as this all pro talent. Maybe he’ll prove me wrong

If you’re not serious, I apologize. If you are serious, stop doing bath salts.

Well with Deshaun Watson down to Carolina or ATL it’s now painfully obvious we are stuck with Hurts…😢

The draft is in 6 weeks

Fletcher will get fleeced, just like the last 6-7 trades he’s made

They got a 1, a 2, and a ton of cap space in exchange for a receiver who’ll be 30 before the end of next season.

If he didn’t want to play in GB, it was a good deal for them

30 is old for WRs, not as old for physical WRs, but still old. Almost all the receiving yardage leaders are 28 and under each season.

Supposedly…

There isn’t one QB that the Eagles would start over Hurts in this draft.

Prediction: Jefferson is the first to WR to eclipse $30M APY

Hurts was a 3rd round prospect the Eagles overdrafted late in the 2nd round for the purpose of being an X-factor gimmick.  "Taysom Hill on steroids” was the phrase thrown around.

There are no sure-fire QB prospects in this draft, but there are at least 4-5 QB prospects better than Hurts.  Not saying the Eagles will draft a QB, but I wouldn’t bet a nickel against it.

So how many 1st rd QBs the last five years have outperformed Hurts as an actual starting QB in the NFL?

How many have fallen short?

A prospect isn't better unless they produce on the field. Trubisky was a high pick, Darnold was a high pick, Daniel Jones was a high pick . . .

There isn't a single QB in this draft I'd take over Hurts - not one has shown anything to suggest they'll be more than a marginal NFL starter.

Hurts IS a marginal starter.

Every single QB in this draft (and probably last year’s) should have a year of clipboard holding before starting. Trade Hurts, draft your favorite and use the Bridgestache for a year. My pick would be Desmond Ridder.
