I think Long's career was worthy of the #2 pick he was taken with.  Personally I think Hutch is a Jared Allen clone.

I think one would expect more than two seasons of double digit sacks from the number 2 pick in the draft

Chris Long was a good player and a better teammate and had a good career and when one picks a player number 2 over all one would expect more than zero pro bowls as well.

Not sure Hutchinson is as sudden as Jared Allen, Allen had pretty good bend and I don't see that from Hutchinson.

Parker got traded for a 3rd, not a late round pick.

Future 3rd, and the Pats got a 5. Still a day 2 pick which is a nice get for them but still.

Drafting WR in round 1 is pretty much a necessity now. Unbelievable they’ll have to do that 3 years in a row.

The Eagles might be better served to take advantage of the depth of the draft and use a third round pick on one.  Their first and second round picks at the position have been spotty.

The value comes out to be basically a 5th

Oh. Well I read late round.  Which vastly different than a 3rs.  I’d still don’t see the comparison to the Tate deal.

Ok.  Back to my original point.  Until it’s changed again.  I think.  Or not.

Your point that Eagles should trade #15 for Mayfield?

I still chuckle that Colts players go on record defending Wentz and I haven’t heard anything but crickets rather than any Browns players vouching for Mayfield.

The more I watch of London , the more I like  hands down my favorite WO in the draft . A few others . The separation stuff is overblown

Can anyone explain to me a scenario where Leo Chenal is an edge rusher with similar responsibilities as Haason Reddick and doesn't end up massively successful? I think drafting him to primarily be a pass rusher would be a home run pick

How many free agency signings/trades are you guys actually sad we missed out on? Woods, Chark, Williams, Maye... Hicks?

Marcus Williams is the only guy that I was hoping we would get that we didn't.  The other guys were Gallop and Godwin but they weren't available by the time the tampering period started.

I drafted him in the mock, looks great doesn’t he

Ben Simmons is delusional

I'd use him just how the Cowboys use Parsons. He'd be worth taking at 19 in this role

I like Chenal as a prospect, but he’s strictly a downhill LB without much upside in pass coverage or even sideline to sideline range.  He’s a 3rd round prospect.

If it’s strictly pass rushing and TFL usage then there are better, more specialized players for that.  It could be argued the Eagles already have Reddick for that.

He sounds like a 3-4 ILB based on reports. His pass rushing seems to come from blitzing rather than straight up beating tackles.

Apparently he was the honorary captain for the Michigan spring game for some reason.  Now he had a mini pro day at half time.  That throwing motion is horrendous.

Chenal played in space quite often , 2nd level , he wasn’t just a thumper   , he can and will improve in coverage , hell of a athlete

Awful TE draft , I struggle to find  3 or 4 that I like .

I like the TE from Nevada late day 3. He makes some wild catches.

Cole Turner I think it is?

Yea that’s him

i got Otten and Kolar , 2 I really like

Here is some Marcus Jones who the eagles were just linked to. Definitely like for the return game. Not sure we have room for another nickel CB on the roster. Hes only 5'8'' 174.

Unless they really think he is that special as a returner that he makes the roster just for that....

Read an article about AJ Brown commenting on a Jalen Hurts post about the kelly greens.

Apparently they are really good friends. Hurts said he tried to recruit him to Alabama, or was it Oklahoma? And hes been one of his best friends since.

Good to know with rumors of a possible Brown trade since he is on the last year of his deal. Probably will stay where hes it. But MAYBE there is a WR we have a chance at despite Hurts being here.

For as small as Jones is , he played all over in the secondary…he is tough and gritty  , little Grimes in him .

He is going to be good. If he is there the Eagles can't hand the card in fast enough.

Hopefully he can always play against a QB that eliminates half of his responsibility on a play and has a noodle arm.

I’m a bigger fan of Drake Jackson than most , I like him in a 34 olb
