Didn’t watch the new one yet but probably not. It’s not like there was a real plot in the first one.

also how have you never seen the first one? It’s free on prime. Highly, highly, highly recommend.

Borat was . I liked the first one better, but this one was strong. It's amazing looking back at the Rudy scene and how much ish had to go right on the first and only take. That whole thing could've easily blown up multiple times before the end.

Borat was great. Way more scripted than first but they addressed a lot of that at beginning. The balls on the woman playing his daughter especially at the debutante ball. Freaking amazing. Some huge laughs and some lulls, but considering most comedy sequels suck, this was a pleasant surprise.

Borat 2 was better than most comedy sequels. Felt they went too hard on crude humor but it is what it is and better than I expected. Definitely liked the first better because he was able to get away with so much more without people recognizing him.

Also, I’d hit Borats daughter. She’s 24 in real life so it’s ok

Yea that scene was unreal. It’s amazing he doesn’t notice who it is when he’s talking to him as the sound guy. Also think it has to be edited. Like SBC was probably there the whole time and they filmed him sneaking around the hotel later. Also have to imagine they were arrested or detained after and not just ran away.

I've been watching old shows through the imdb thing. The ads aren't long and was able to re-watch some shows I liked that were canceled too soon

You probably don't need to but you are really missing out on how hilarious it is. Watching the first one will also help you understand the comedy of the 2nd one.

Just finished - Pink Floyd The Making of the Dark Side of the Moon.

It is an older documentary but absolutely a master piece of music and if a fan of music in general I recommend

Is The Lie any good?

It was ok. I thought it was worth the watch. It’s on the slower side though

Original Borat was great.  I'll def watch this new one.

I am about halfway through Vikings.  Pretty good.  I love the genre.  Obviously not as good as GOT or The Last Kingdom.  But good enough.  It follows the same storyline as The Last Kingdom, it's just a generation ahead of it.  From a different perspective.

great show. i am about to start season 6.  i never got the storyline connection to last kingdom. whats the bloodline connection ?

Truth seekers is actually pretty good. Burned through it in a night. 8 30 minute episodes. It says it's a comedy but most of the humor is dry British humor. It's more of a supernatural mystery show with some light hearted parts.

Might have to check this out.  I get British humour and like both supernatural and mystery shows.  Sounds intriguing.  The light hearted also sounds good since most shows now have some sense of dark, thriller, murder-porn or oppression.  That's why I really loved Ted Lasso.  Like this show, 30 minutes per episode with a very light hearted, humourous and mostly positive vibe (without being a sit-com) to offset all the drama/intense shows that seem to dominate now.

I'll have to check that out. Truth seekers drew me in cause Simon pegg is in it (as a secondary character) and his chubby friend (whose name escapes me) is the main character
