Just watched Quiet Place 2.  Really good.  Very well done and entertaining.  Cillian Murphy was a plus.

I like it but, it ended so quickly. I felt like I was just getting into it and it was over lol. I'm like is this it? Are they sure?

Anybody watch Lamb yet? The new film from A24?

was the candyman remake any good?  i loved the original as well as the sequel.

It was slightly woke but still enjoyable enough

I finished the rest of Midnight Mass in one night.  I just couldn't bring myself to stop watching the next episode.

I had no idea where it was going at the start but really liked it all the way through.  Don't want to say too much since even mentioning related subgenres would be kind of spoiler-ish.

Yeah we've just started watching it (we are 2 episodes in) and we really like it. We don't really know where it is going and not an awful lot has happened to make us really hooked and yet we are. It has that gritty edge to it.

Shudder just put up Night of the Demons. 80s horror film written in Philly. (Not the remake.)
Good Halloween viewing if you haven't seen it. Starts slow but picks up steam.

Finally watched Malignant last night  Holy hell that was amazing.

Spoiler

I suspected early on that they were twins that were joined telepathically - in no way did I suspect that Gabriel was a TUMOR living in her brain

i'm tempted to

fix that for you but I don't want anyone reading spoilers on this who would consider watching.

One of my first thoughts after I picked my entire body off of the floor was damn, what a phenomenal Halloween costume that would be. but again, you would then be spoiling the reveal for every person who didn't see the film and had to ask what you were. Maybe give it a few years.

Neve held up pretty well, I must say.

The house phone sheet just killed it. No one has those anymore lol

I do like the Scream movies to be fair. Just hope they go with the old trusted format of suspense and music and build up rather than modern day which is just gore gore gore.

i believe that the new halloween movie premiers on peacock tonight.  i might give it a watch this weekend.

Is it an "at home" move? I am seeing the new Damon/Affleck/Adam Drive movie tonight and depending on how I feel after that was going to consider a double header with Halloween Kills. I have an 830am tailgate for college football game tomorrow so as much as I enjoy the theater, that would be an easier way to kill two birds with one stone and be in bed at an earlier time.

I'm watching before it gets dark. Meyers scares the sheet out of me lol

My thoughts on Halloween kills....Well like.most sequels or 2nd movies of these kinds of things, they can't help themselves and go way over the top. The mob mentality was corny as hell.

I loved the 1st one blumhouse did in 2018 but, this one was a bit ridiculous. Maybe they meant it to be that way but, meh. I didn't hate it but, it's Halloween movie. Entertaining for the most part and the murders Michael does are absolutely brutal they didn't hold back in this one.

SyFy has a tribute show called Day of the Dead that'll be on at 10pm est today

Thanks for heads up. recorded just in time

Lol that was such a cheesy line to start the show off

Halloween Kills

Not good. Normally you watch this for the kills but the story and side stories they throw in were really bad

There were so many stupid moments it took away from the kills

I still would like to see a Michael vs Jason movie (I think Jason wins)
