Not if the reports regarding the informant are accurate. The only one who has handled this situation like crap is that fat sack of orange crap you worship daily.

Ah, have to say Orange Man bad before speaking about any other thoughts in here. Got it. No interrupting a circle jerk.

How many times, oh Lord?

How long would it take you to go through every piece of paper from a presidency?

Hey...anyone see the files for that ultra top secret national security program? The one we only made a few copies of? No, we should have put a librarian in charge of it and told her to hunt it down and charge a late fee. I have a problem with that. You others obviously don't. I'll let you get back to he is a bad man only talk.

That's the entire point of this whole thing, dude. Orange Man IS bad for stealing classified documents.

 By all accounts, the evidence indicates that he was in possession of some highly sensitive documents that he repeatedly failed to properly turn over. So yeah, I'd consider that bad. Any rational person who isn't in a cult would agree.

How do you feel about government employees stealing classified info and lying about it? Any opinion?

And there is nothing else to possibly have an issue with in this entire thing after talking about that first fact and pretty much agreeing if he has them he is done. Got it.

I'm not disagreeing with that, so what is the problem with talking about another issue?

Trump disclosed secret weapons system to Woodward: book

Trump has a track record of bragging about new weapons that are publicly known, though he’s gone further by disclosing details that were previously unknown.

In May, Trump touted a "super duper” missile he said could travel 17 times faster than anything in the current U.S. arsenal.

Reports later said Trump was referring to the U.S. military’s hypersonic glide body and that the speed Trump disclosed referenced how much faster than the speed of sound the missile flew in a March test.

The Pentagon had announced the hypersonic missile test in March but did not disclose the speed.

meh, just some rando.

Oh FFS, give me a break. You've been twisting yourself into knots to defend him, downplay the situation, and pin blame on the FBI the entire time. This is my fault for ever taking you seriously and engaging in good faith.

This isn't the Jalen Hurts thread dude.  It's the orange man got raided by the FBI thread.

But that's my point. How did it go a year and a half and nobody knew files that sensitive were missing? I find it hard to believe they weren't looking for those as well back then. If they in fact didn't know then that is a problem.

I would have to assume that most of these documents are not typically in physical form at this stage. Most are probably locked down in some kind of digital format.

But they can of course be printed out for ease of access for those who perhaps are less inclined towards digital consumption.

I would submit that they should and maybe do have security protocols in place that would track when and who printed such documents, however, once they're printed they can be photocopied and there's far less control centrally to know what is and is not out in the wild.

And I have little doubt that in the Trump White House any such security protocols were probably seen as mere inconveniences to important business. And as such, probably were short circuited on a regular basis.

The problem is you can't simultaneously claim that Trump is being treated unfairly while at the same time say that the FBI/DOJ should have come down harder on Trump.

How lame to you have to be to have the mods reinstate a thread you deleted because your little feelers got hurt.

Wasn't my intent at all to say he wasn't treated fairly. He gets what he gets. If my issues with the DOJ are answered as things come out then fine. Dense or not those are my questions as of now and I'd be happy to have them resolved.

Normal person would be going to prison

Fair enough. As long as we're in agreement that Trump has full blame for taking and holding on to classified material.

I will still contend that, based on everything we know, the DOJ and FBI handled it well. If you're problem is Trump should have been treated more like a criminal than what he was then I won't stand in your way anymore.

Honestly, yeah, but as others have said the informant was the first time they knew. I have questions about that, but whatever. It's not ideal, but I wanted a chance to vote for DeSantis and it looks like he will have a clear path.

He’s just asking questions man!

So he had the documents (assuming the WSJ tweet is legit). He is definitely guilty and should get five years, right?

Uhhh…if he was planning on selling nuclear secrets, isn’t that treason? And doesn’t that mean death?
