Can I make irrelevant, low-to-middling funny posts with deviant sexual overtones on this thread too?

Please say yes, I have so little in life since the NHS denied my realdoll.

Only if they're limited to Saorse Ronan

Did I miss anything good before he deleted it ??

Tom Brady's absence continues: QB out for at least the next 10 days due to non-football related reasons

https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/tom-bradys-absence-continues-qb-out-for-at-least-the-next-10-days-due-to-non-football-related-reasons/

Since our right wing brethren are just too upset to post, I will try to pick up the slack.

Hear me out, what if TOM BRADY is the guy who leaked to the FBI, and they have him sequestered for his own protection?

Just asking.

Although Trump has publicly said that the DOJ should unseal the documents and show them (something he could do freely any time he wants) his LAWYERS have until 3pm to respond to the request.

How much do you want to bet, his lawyers object to the release?

While the sensational report of potential nuclear documents has drawn the spotlight, the apparently confirmed retrieval of sigint materials has flown under the radar. This is still highly damaging aside from whatever they might've found related to nuclear weapons.

As I mentioned last night it's obviously possible, but if true it raises some questions.

They went there months ago looking for them, were shown a room of boxes that could have contained them, and left them there for months only asking them to put a padlock on them??? Documents that sensitive??

They get the warrant to go after these highly sensitive documents and wait 72 hours before serving it??

Exigency would be out the window with those delays if they believed something that sensitive was there and our secrets were at risk.

Any thoughts on the documents being there? Any thoughts on the president taking them, lying about them, saying he turned them all over but actually not doing so?

Anything?

It could have something to do with them needing to cross their T's and dot their I's because they were dealing with the world's biggest baby.

If this was joe public it probably would have been done quickly, but since it is Trump they had to use kid gloves on him. Pun intended.

Maybe they knew the nature of the documents, but not necessarily how sensitive the information was until they retrieved it.

I think the warrant was an entirely separate level of escalation, and if the reports about the informant and possible documents containing information about nuclear weapons are accurate, then it fits perfectly in line with the motivation to act urgently once this came to the FBI's attention. Now whether they actually found any materials of that nature is yet to be confirmed. Unfortunately, we're still flying a bit blind on this and we're left to speculate until more details emerge. Unsealing the warrant might help a little bit, but it will probably take a while before we find out exactly what he still had in his possession on the day of the raid.

They sent him a subpoena saying return all docs. He returned some. Apparently then an informant came forward and said he hasn't actually complied. With that, they got the search warrant.

It's pretty standard practice other than, yes, they probably gave him more leeway given the high profile. You can't execute a search warrant because you think he didn't return everything. Having an informant changes that.

You think they go through records like that in five minutes? It is time-consuming.  AND they’ve asked for them back already.
