And hit at least 90 just six times.of course, I say that, and then he gives up a homerunLol yeah he is getting hit now.. ugh
July 5, 2025Jul 5 Im struggling to get through games this year.... I haven't finished a full game yet

The only difference is he hasn’t gotten crushed like he did last year around this time when his velocity dropped. They realistically should skip his next start so we basically get two weeks off until he has to pitch again. But I’m guessing they won’t because Abel is in the minors And they really don’t have anybody else.

Outside of that I still think hes so good that DD should make it a priority to extend him. I think that ship has probably sailed though since he hasn't gotten it done yet.

Once that happened I assume that Ranger was gone. It was gonna be one of the two. The thing with Ranger is he runs out of steam because he’s not in great shape. If he got himself into better shape, I think he would be able to sustain the season. But you see him he looks almost identical every single year.

I haven't finished a full game yetThe issue you’re having is because they don’t particularly hit very well. Which makes it harder to watch as they go into a slump for like 10 days where they just can’t hit. The one thing of greatness that you see is that their starting pitching has Wheeler, Sanchez, ranger and occasionally Luzardo. But outside of that, you’re not watching for the bullpen cause you know they’re gonna implode at some point and the offense is inconsistent so you likely tune in and you might get a horrific offensive performance.

Ill turn it on to start the game and they wont hit for sheet but, ill leave it on if wheeler or Sanchez are pitching but, once they leave the game and they still dont have any Fn runs i just turn it off.
July 5, 2025Jul 5 I get so frustrated with the offense I end up turning it off half the time. It's bad for my health 😂

And I would like to get at least one more arm and sign Robertson however, I think it’s way more vital that they go out and get an impact bat that’s a cleanup type hitter. We went the furthest in the playoffs with arguably our worst bullpen. We had our best bullpen going in last year and it got destroyed. So your bullpen could be either real good or real bad depending on the series. But your hitting has been an issue dating all the way back to the diamondback series and even the Astro series. Couldn’t score the last three games of the series against the Astros and against the Diamondbacks in game three, six and seven you 1,1 and 2. To me if you can somehow get a power right handed hitter for the middle of that lineup I actually think their offense would look significantly better.

I have no confidence that this lineup won't go cold again in the playoffs plus this year they seem to have less power than the previous 3 years outside of Schwarber. Feels like forever since they had a true clean up hitter. In general this lineup needs another power bat.

He was actually the perfect fit especially with hot golf he’s been this year. They could deal for Suarez who fits that mold but he’s 33 and FA at years end. Imo id go after Kyle Tucker in FA but if they can’t get him they really should look back into Alonso and moving Harper to OF

July 5, 2025Jul 5 Welp ranger is whining about his back again. Tine to rest him till the end of seeason

If I was DD, I would give him the QO. If he signs it, fine, it's only 1 year. If not, they at least get a comp pick out of it.

Tine to rest him till the end of seeasonI said during his last starting against Atlanta, his back was bothering him. It’s a very specific tell with Ranger. When Ranger is on, he’s just natural in his routine. But when his back starts bothering him, you start seeing him do more twists and stretches between batters and even Between pitches. And he was doing that a lot in Atlanta. Today he did it more than he usually does, but not anywhere close to what it was in Atlanta.

July 6, 2025Jul 6 Obviously not likely but the guardians just lost 9 in a row and sit at 40-47 and 5 out of the wild card. If they fall out of it I wonder if Jose ramirez would become available. I get he didn’t want to leave a couple years back but he is going to be 33 in September, they owe him a ton of money (anfter this year 3 years at $69 mil) and feels like they might have to start rebuilding. Could move Bohm to first and Harper to OF. Obviously think miller and Crawford would be apart of the deal if it were to go down. I’m guessing likely Abel in there as well as someone like Tait
