Peak 2007-2009 was pure met hate. Their fans suck and they have a bunch of players you’d love to punch in the face. Nimmo and Alonso are those guys now

I'll go back further. I hated Darryl Strawberry, Doc Gooden, Kevin Mcreynolds, Sid Fernandez, Jesse Orosco, and the rest of that team. They were so damn good yet we're only able to win 1 World Series. Those Phillies teams were awful then so it was rough going to school with a Mets fan. Heck, the only ones I liked on those teams were Dysktra and McDowell and that's only because they became Phillies. 😆

I just swept the mets in MLB the show game if that makes you feel any better lol.

Look forward to the 20 or so fights between padres and dodgers fans this week

Hopefully the rest will help the team but they will need to flip the switch on Saturday and bring the intensity from the first pitch.

Astros AND Atlanta are out...... enjoying these playoffs so far.

They only play once this week?

Should do that if it’s the Mets

Love those guys. I wish we could get Jimmy or Ryan in the booth every Sunday instead of Schmidt. Schmidt makes me want to mute the TV and swan dive off the roof.

Peak Ryan Howard might have been my favorite player to watch in my lifetime (missed out on Schmidt and Carlton). I love Harper but Howard hit some bombs and his first 4 years he had some really clutch bombs. He hit a grand slam at the dbacks game i was at. He’s the only one of Rollins, utley and Howard that i don’t have a gamer of. It’s so hard to find and when you do it goes extremely fast

Yup, absolutely. Peak he was incredible. I always thought he'd hit one out every time he came up to the plate. Even how he set up in the batters box was intimidating to opposing pitchers.

It’s such a shame that it ended the way that it did. Because we knew we had an issue with his Achilles and they kept giving him shots. Eventually, he was gonna wear it thin and pop it. With how good that 2011 team was they could’ve sat him for stretches and time and just let it get better than just continuously giving him a shot and playing on it. It wound up ruining the rest of his career

wow

Brewers just hit back to back homers and up 2-0. Bottom of the 7th.

Wow the brewers just blew the series in the 9th

lol Brewers. That’s a rough way to possibly blow a series. Unbelievable.

Why Williams is still in the game after giving up that homer is ridiculous. At this point pull him and keep it at 1 run

Phillies and Mets have never met in the playoffs
