The whole trade thing seems like a Hail Mary anyway. Why the hell would they put Feb 15th in his contract instead of like 3 days after new league year? Teams should just wait for the Raiders to cut him.

Raiders have to guarantee a ton of money on his contract 5 days after the SB, so they HAVE to agree to a trade before then.

Scenario:

Jets talk to Carr, say they’ll give him a better contract if they don’t have to pay draft assets to trade for him, just tell LV you refuse to get traded and we’ll pick you up when LV is forced to cut you

LV is screwed, have to cut him before that day, get nothing for him

Yep. He has a full no trade clause too so it would be very easy for this scenario to happen.
