Was it on here that someone shared a video about this?  If not, there was a video where someone suggested that the NFL ad a 2nd bye week and that every team playing a Thursday game has a mandotory bye week prior to that game.  This gives those teams more time to prepare/heal injuries and also extends the season out an extra week.  That would push Super Bowl Sunday back to the 3rd week of February and the 3rd Monday of February is a guaranteed holiday for President's Day on the 3rd Monday of February.   

It makes too much sense you know the NFL would never do it.

I would hope but there's always the timing aspect to it. Same reason we lost DeFillippo and Reich in the same offseason.
