Game day!  They always say defense wins championship.  With the best team sack record, we should have an edge.  But KC also have some weapons and a special QB who can do crazy things.  Excited to see how they play in the game and which team has the right plan and execute well.  Fly Eagles Fly!

Too young to remember what I did for Super Bowl XV.

For XXIX, I went to my brother's house and watched it there with his wife and two sons, along with my wife and our son. 

I watched SBLII at home... just me, my wife and my son.  I didn't want any distractions.  

 

This year... breaking all the rules.  My dad and mom are coming over (Her 70th birthday was yesterday), my recently widowed sister and her two kids are coming, and my brother, his wife and his oldest son and girlfriend will be here (other son is off at college... too far to come home).   

Menu: inside out pizzas, BBQ spare ribs, and smoked wings.   We will also have some veggies... because, we're supposed to... and a birthday cake for mom.

I was also too young for Super Bowl XV.

I went to Super Bowl XXIX in Jacksonville with one of my best friends.  Awesome experience although gut wrenching loss at the end.

For Super Bowl LII I flew up to Philly with my son, watched it at my folks' home with most of my immediate family, cousins - amazing all around experience.  After they won, I called my boss and basically said that I couldn't come back to work until after the parade - and then went on to reschedule the flight back to Florida so my son and I could attend the parade.  100% worth it.

For this Super Bowl, decided to stay here in Florida with my cousin and a few friends coming over - this is a game I want to be able to focus on so no big party, etc.

Going to have an appetizer platter, chips/dip, nachos/salsa, pizza, wings and a hoagie platter.  And then some beverages. (Plan on keeping the drinking on the lighter side and not until after kickoff).

ESPN, everyone taking the Chiefs except for Dolan. Herm Edwards refused to make a pick, but said his heart goes eagles and head goes chiefs.
