Yeah you kinda have to take a shot or two of some Yukon Jack to get into Howie's way of thinking lol.

Personally I hope, and have been saying for months now, that we double down on Dline with our first 2 picks. With that said I have become more intrigued with Ringo as time has gone by.

Ringo is a gamer. Always in good position to break up the pass. Alot of times in highlights, you see him running routes better than the WR. Would be great to have him alongside Slay for the next few seasons. Then slide over to CB1 when Slay hangs them up. Saints pick would need to fall in that 7-9 range to have a chance at him.

Cam Smith would also be a solid choice too. Think he's more likely to be there where that pick winds up.

Getting ready to walk out the door to head to the stadium. Same thing I said five years ago....when I get home, I'm either going to be really depressed or extremely jubilant. Later gents.

Just continuing to rest Jalen's shoulder. He knows the O... time to heal.

Not worried about Dalton. He's good for two pics...

and a strip/sack fumble...

I wonder why he reported them together ??  It's almost like they both do something that puts them at additional risk of getting injured.

It's no better than DAL, and Minshew put up 27 on DAL.  Saints can't (or shouldn't) be capable of scoring 27 at The Linc with Dalton/Hill at QB.

Saints' last 8 games: 24, 13, 10, 27, 0, 16, 21, 17.
24 likely does it. Just don't turn the ball over.

It would take several WTF moments to lose to the Saints. Also Ian Book would have to play.

2006 was the last time the final undefeated team in the NFL won a Super Bowl.

Minshew scored 27 against Dallas but helped Dallas score 40. How anyone can have any confidence in this team after that display is beyond me. They were factually bad. We were a bad team on Saturday.

Disagree. I think they can straight up beat us. Without Jalen, I don’t see a significant gap in talent, especially if Olave plays.

Minshew is going to drop back and aggressively uncork the football to the end of his targeted route.  Against a good defense, he’ll still go for 300 yards and carve them up (assuming there is isn’t a pass rush nightmare).

Fluke luck will determine if he keeps a clean turnover sheet or tosses 3ints…which will probably determine the outcome.

So, no shot?

Don't mean to be a Richard, just hate these takes.

Who's gonna stop us?

May Minshew channel the spirit of Jeff Garcia!

At this point, I don't care about the Cowboys. If we don't win one of our last 2 games, we don't deserve the #1 seed and we weren't winning the SB anyway.

Turnovers happen, it is up to the defense to step up.

Did not matter, touchback, long field, short field, 3rd and 30, the defense stopped the Dallas offense once in 9 tries after the pick 6.

That's just silly. Outside of S the Eagles have a more talent at every positional group, including QB with Minshew. Any given Sunday and all but they are not anywhere near as talented.

To be fair, and I think it matters, that was the first time Minshew had played meaningful snaps in a full year. He indeed looked spazzy at times out there but I have more confidence he will look more comfortable at home vs the Saints.

It looks like Olave might be back for the Saints. Dalton has shown he can carve up zone defenses from time to time if he has good protection. If we can pressure Dalton and keep Kamara in check then we should have no problem winning this game.

Colin Cowherd did a segment about this.  The NFL is 3 seasons, before thanksgiving, after thanksgiving and the playoffs.

We are the before thanksgiving champions, and are 5-2 in our last seven.  While that does not sound awful, teams are getting hot for the playoffs.  49ers have won 8 straight, Bengals have won 7 straight, Bills have won 6 straight.  Chiefs are 8-1 in their last 9, with the only loss being at Cincinnatti.

We are more talented but not by a significant margin, especially when we look at the atrocity of a team we fielded on Saturday and our injuries.

This game is going to be close and the Saints will have a chance to win it in the fourth quarter.

Edit: I also believe Dalton is a noticeably better QB than Minshew.

An atrocity of a team doesn't lead for 37 minutes of a game against an 11-4 opponent and also have the ball in the opposing teams RZ to almost win at the end of the game despite them having 40 points.

No surprise titans are resting their players. I believe they’re mathematically  out of WC race and regardless of the outcome on Thursday the division comes down to week 18. A cowboys loss gives eagles the division but not the #1 seed.

No he wouldn't and that is why it is all smoke and no fire.  And yes, I know you were being sarcastic.
