No, and this "we are just TOO SMART” world view is why you keep getting your back blown out by a 70 year old game show host.

Ever see that South Park episode with the San Francisco dip sh**s huffing their own farts? Yeah — that’s you.

The problem isn’t your propaganda, the problem is you.

The most serious problem for Democrats remains the insane progressive wing of the party. I was in PA for 5 days right before the election, and Trump was running the "Kamala is for they/them" ad non-stop because it works. As Bill Maher has said -- if your policy sounds like an Onion headline, maybe find a better policy. Democrats won't stand up to their lunatic fringe (trans activists, terrorist supporters, etc.). While the GOP won't do it either, the GOP fringe isn't nearly as repugnant to the average voter -- crying fascism doesn't have the same impact as telling people their daughter is going to get beat up by a boy at her lacrosse game.

If the left wants to win, they need to start calling out the crazy in their party instead of focusing on the crazy in the GOP.

Yup.

Open borders, roving gangs of looters, and trannies in your daughter’s bathroom is not a messaging problem. It is a problem of fundamentally insane policies and no amount of rewording those policies is going to change the fact that they are insane policies.

No, I’m suggesting that no matter how you dress up your sh** policies they are still absolute sh**.

"your sh** policies"? I think you've got me mistaken for someone else.

Until a candidate comes along who wants to completely axe Social Security, end Citizens United, overhaul the DoD and their out of control spending, and go full bore single payer... I'll continue to just vote for anyone but Trump. But these days a legitimate POTUS candidate like that is probably as rare one who wants to run on a platform of eliminating a woman's right to vote.

Dude, you’re a hardline democrat why pretend otherwise?

I thought someone said Barho was a woman a day or so ago.

One thing to add about the progressive wing killing the Democrats' electoral chances -- you see this much more vividly at the state and local level where the idiot progressives get into the majority. Look at some of the races in CA. The mayor of Oakland, a radical progressive, was recalled. So was the DA for Alameda County, who refused to prosecute criminals. And Proposition 36, which makes shoplifting a felony again, passed with 70% of the vote.

However, the stupidity remains.  While Oakland recalled the idiot progressive mayor (her home was raided by the FBI back in the summer), they still elected a majority uber progressive city council and city attorney. LA elected Karen Bass as mayor. These people do real damage that the GOP can pay up on a national level. Until Democratic voters stop supporting this insanity, they will continue to be tainted with it nationally.

My stances have been documented for years. We've both discussed with each other on this message board about reducing the debt and ending SS. Why pretend otherwise?

Mayanh8 just went from "the democrats are just too smart for the masses" to "their policies suck" in a single post.

What's amazing is that I can't understand why Harris wouldn't call a couple of these things out. Agree that border security is an issue, and say you will deport all illegal immigrants convicted of a felony. Saw you're against biological males competing with women -- adults are free to identify as they like, but we must accept genetic differences among the sexes. Call defund the police a mistake.

Bill Clinton won the election with an easy layup calling out Sister Souljah. That's what Harris needed.

Why do you think California went permanently blue?

It’s too late in my view.

Everyone knows that these are, indeed, Democrat policies.

There’s no getting around this fact. They can’t blame it on the GOP or Trump. The electorate has correctly identified the Democratic Party as the ones who own all of these problems and that these problems were created from nothing based on ideology.

It will take decades for the voters to divorce the democrats from these policies in their mind, and that’s if the democrats actually did an about face, which they won’t.

I didn't live here at the time -- CA last voted for a Republican presidential candidate in 1988. But the state did elect Arnold in 2003 and then re-elected him in 2006 (I did live in CA then). It feels like he state went full bore insane after that; when I came back in 2016, there was no chance of a Republican winning anything. Jerry Brown is a Democrat, but he wasn't completely insane. Newsom on the other hand...

CA is very liberal on social issues, so it feels like when GWB was elected and the Religious Right gained greater influence, CA reacted to the left -- Arnold was socially liberal. A lot of people I know here aren't super liberal on economic issues, but things like LBGT rights, abortion, etc. get them all fired up. But mainly it really just becomes a reinforcing circle where everyone is liberal and you live in the bubble. It's why parents out here seemingly want their kids to be trans -- so they can fit in with the other parents.

When Obama ran for president he did some of what you're suggesting and then it was game over for McCain.

It’s every place they get power.

A few miles from where I live, over in Alexandria, they literally had a tranny sexually assault a girl in a girls bathroom, covered it up, sent the tranny to a different school, where the tranny proceeded to sexually assault another girl in the girls bathroom. They tried to cover that up too.

It got out, there was outrage and lawsuits… But nothing changed. They still have most of the same people in power and the same policies. It doesn’t matter if it’s Philly, SF, or Alexandria. This is what the Democrats want to do.

😂 love this guy

Interesting theory, but the answer is demographics. That's why this election was so important. Another four years of her would be another four years of importing as many illegals as humanly possible and pushing for mass amnesty. Then, the californication of the rest of the country would begin in earnest.

But you’re not. Thats the funny part!

Democrats lost because they failed at everything, not because they didn’t string the right words together. You simply aren’t smart enough to identify the problem correctly and the masses are.

Economy — rampant inflation caused by Dems spending.

Foreign policy — literally a war in Eastern Europe and the Middle East caused by their own weakness and no solution in sight besides throwing money at the problem.

Social issues — LMFAO

This isn’t a "let’s explain things simply and then the unwashed masses will understand” problem.

This is a "we failed at literally everything, everything we touch turns to absolute sh**, and we can’t convince voters we aren’t at fault for all of this because we are” problem.

I mean, Latinos voted more for Trump than any GOP candidate in a while. Latinos are generally church goers and socially conservative.

Mike Johnson says there was no serious fraud in the election.

I don't know. He ought to rewind a week to Nov. 5. Lots of allegations of election fraud last week.
