To me…this all makes perfect sense. It’s an actual thoughtful opinion. Really not even sure what’s confusing you both?

I seem to remember you saying to fire Siri and make Moore the HC.

You're right. Thanks

He learned real quick after moving into the booth…Eagles fans don’t forget and are dangerous. Just heard him even mention this before this last game. He hears it from all of us endlessly.

 I wasn't aware of that

After a long theoretical scenario where our O completely launched and flourished. I mentioned in that that case…there is a scenario I could picture of wanting to promote the O mind instead of losing him. A completely outside the box idea most couldn’t even fathom. But yeah…if the OC I wasn’t that high on showed himself blockbuster driving force behind our O? I’d really consider promoting him instead of losing him to become HC elsewhere. Siri just doesn’t have the X and Os knowledge.

Really the easy obvious answer is I didn’t want Siri or Moore.

And this is what happens. Take everything I share …dumb it down to one little key word. No Mas wonders why I try and speak more vague about concepts and such. This was exactly where I went into very specific detail. But it just comes back as …oh Ham loves Moore now.

Guess it’s just my thoughts aren’t so simple. A bit more complex than everything is great or terrible. This is how most everything in life really is

Sad part is even back then originally I had to go over and over explaining this opinion then….because it wasn’t so oversimplistic.

Can mediocre be better than the previous alternative? Siri didn’t have X and O answers. Siri doesn’t have a real scheme. Siri really just doesn’t seem like he’s a good teacher. Teaching is synonymous  with coaching for me.
Now…I’m ready to adjust and give credit for some growth and development from Siri this season. But we’re discussing my opinion this past offseason.

Now I wasn’t all that high on Moore. reasons I believed this have been surfacing.

But let’s all be real clear here. My opinion has consistently been demanding more…not Moore.

I demand the top O mind…to go along with what I consider is a proven pro D mind in Fangio. Why is everybody so heck bent on settling for less?

The playcalling hasn’t been great. We should all easily agree on that much. Just don’t really believe Moore is a natural playcaller. Or HC…for those going down the wrong roads. Some real disconnect in playcalling. I’m real high on setting up future plays based on previous plays. Moore seems way too disconnected on this. Hits occasionally. But three straight successful runs…then I’d think Playaction. Moore goes Empty backfield…? Then you have the situational disconnects. How you have the routes not working together and especially not fitting the situational football moment. An example I’ve noticed numerous times:  Sure and underneath guy might come open early….but it’s third down and we need much more yardage. So the QB needs to wait to let the possible first down converting passes get a look first. When the two receivers routes past the sticks prove to not develop? Then it’s too late for the underneath quick option.

10 wins............................That's settling for less LOL. They even surpassed my 12 win prediction. Your bar is very low....on Hurts it's on the floor

I just pointed out how three of our main O plays were audibles getting out of Moore’s play. That’s confirmed fact. Should be clear to more than just me everything isn’t all roses.

Is 10 wins on the way to growing and developing to a much higher ceiling settling? But this is an area I’m reviewing of my opinions. Having home field throughout is valuable. So I don’t want to completely diminish that fact. Gotta give Siri credit there. NFC Championship game is in Philly baby! So was getting this more important than having our O best prepared at this point of the postseason? That’s the ultimate question here. I was more willing to take risks which could have incurred more L. Didn’t absolutely mean we would lose these games…but would have needed to overcome the bumps in the road as our O learned/progressed/grew/developed.

Does avoid learning any hard wisdoms in the regular season trump our needs to have these things polished at this point? Could you have a 10 win team that is better when that postseason moment comes than a 14 win team?

We developed to 2 games from the Lombardi? What other developments are needed??? Apparently we developed enough? Although I don't expect to hold them scoreless ,the wuss are really not much threat. JD is up for rookie of the year. He will be tough next year with whatever they add,but for now we should dominate. Just play like we have been,no devlopment needed. Manage the air game and run the ball like always. Bark will wear out their D line in the first 1/2 and take care of business the second. It's the plan that got us here. No need to experiment at this point. If it ain't broke don't fix it

Excellent, Hurts is the guy on the field not Moore. Very glad he made those reads. it's progress

That’s our divide in opinions. I believe we could be more than you do. Again…another non-oversimplified opinion from me. You the 12 win predictor was reaching for less than me the 10 win predictor.

Very little expectation you get what I’m saying here. But totally makes sense.

Sure, that is always possible. The during season schedule matters. Next year will be MUCH tougher than the last 2. I suspect the Wuss may win the division. I have not looked at their schedule yet. I have all off season to do that. Even so,if we are a wild card we will give them a game

When 12 is less than 10 let me know immediately

So nowhere in your thick skull you are doubting the coaching? Even here where you acknowledge the QB got us into  the good play by changing it…for whatever reasons.

I agree we could be more. That all depends on the QB. he is what he is as limited as he is,but we make it work anyhow
