April 13, 20251 yr Author 32. Philadelphia Eagles – Walter Nolen, DI, Ole Miss Philly is +105 to take a defensive lineman or EDGE with their first pick. Nolen slides into a deep rotation and could be the next breakout star in the trenches.

April 13, 20251 yr What would be the price you’d be willing to trade Tanner McKee to the Saints for?

Jalen Hurts doesn’t play an ultra-safe brand of football. That’s on top of how our coaches utilize him with the QB draws and Brotherly Shove. We are universally considered contenders this season to repeat(even though we lost more talented key contributors than any team in the league).

I don’t get super attached to players when it comes to the business side of things. NBA after Jordan’s Bulls I root for players instead of attempting to stock with a favorite team. Everybody just moves around so much I find it near impossible to just be loyal to any team. Eagles is where my first loyalty priorities remain concerning the NFL. I bring that up because I’m a believer in almost everybody is tradeable for the right price. That price I place at a premium for an almost completely unproven backup QB not coming from any huge hype or fame promised ever in the NFL. I’m saying I find it really hard to trade Tanner now. I absolutely am labeling this an ‘All In Season.’ Hurts will tough through beyond just normal pain and injury holdups. He’s a warrior! But forcing him to do so isn’t what could be best for our team’s best interest to reach our highest of goals. Playing through injury to have his condition just go downhill instead of getting him at his best for the most crucial moments would be counterproductive. Now it just doesn’t take much at all to have any player yanked out over concussion protocol also.

Kellen Moore will have to really pry Tanner away from us convincingly. Seems like an outrageous asking price for Tanner. I find him really just that difficult to try and replace. Even if Moore really comes begging and willing to overpay like this….frankly he really should be just that desperate and motivated to do about anything he can to pry away Tanner. It’s exactly ideal trade situation scenario you couldn’t dream any better. Tanner can easily be argued as a better choice than any draft choice this year….especially specifically for Moore. We’d be almost certainly be forced to draft a QB backup if we did trade Tanner.
April 13, 20251 yr Now I don’t like this QB draft class as far as it doesn’t have any QBs I rank as worthy of a first round pick. Cam going number one overall I understand am not totally seeing him as a bust or anything. He isn’t any sure fire selection by any means either. But I do like this QB class for its volume of QBs. Some of these later choices at the position have the building blocks and potential to work out.
April 13, 20251 yr So Cam, Sanders, Dart are all going in the first round. Milroe has been nothing but climbing the whole way. Speculation surrounding him rocketing into a first round choice even. So top four QBs aren’t even in consideration for us. Ewers seems to be next QB in the rankings. He’s a guy FL and No Mas would likely champion. He’s the guy with the big arm that can make every throw that has the look of a Pro QB. Totally not my guy at all. Not even liking him as a backup NFL QB. He’s missing all the other important traits an NFL must possess other than an arm to be successful.
April 13, 20251 yr I can see another six QBs being drafted after those initial five. These players are very interesting to deep dive into. I actually feel confident one of them will succeed in a fairly big way. They each seem to have some clear strengths and weaknesses. But not really noticing any clear holdups against each defining why they can’t and won’t ever be capable NFL QBs.
April 13, 20251 yr QB Tyler Shough from Louisville ranked outside the top 150. I like this kid. He’s probably my top choice to swing for at QB. QB Kyle McCord Louisville I think might just have ‘it’ too.
April 13, 20251 yr Author Well "my boy" Donte Thornton-WR has been discovered and is on the move up, so if that continues I will have to remove him as a round 5 on my mock, then I will need to decide if he is worthy of a 4 pick. I believe we need a young CB more than a WR,but as the draft approaches we'll see how this all shakes out
April 13, 20251 yr Author https://utsports.com/sports/football/roster/dont-e-thornton-jr-/20133 IDK sounds like a great fit. Reminder-although he played in all 13 games as a senior,he only actually started in FOUR and STILL put up these stats. He is down on the boards because he was never given the proper opportunity. IDK WHY the Vols held him back and put him in when others couldn't cut it(sounds like bad coaching decisions) Turn this kid LOOSE

Mock him at 134 or hold my CB pick(Nohl Williams who I also really like). I will see if there are any CB's in 5. I also see Scourton moving up a little. Edge seems to be the popular picks amongst most team in this draft. Some have him in the 24-27 range. I hope there is a run on another position and he falls to us. Nolen would be a nice consolation prize, but there is a big drop off of edge players after early-mid 2. I also see Darius Alexander(DT Toledo) on the move up. He is a "tweener" for us between 32 and 64,so players are beginning to get sorted
April 13, 20251 yr Author More O line guys and CB's with visits. It's interesting to me that it seems they are more settled on who they want at edge and DT and are looking now at rounds 3 and 4 for those 2 positions. They gave me more homework to do.

I don't know anyone personally that uses this term. How did you come about using it?

How did you come about using it?We need a QB???? I'm fine with McKee as the 2, he earned it. 4 QB's going before us, really helps us alot. We should get our guy WR's will have a few of those going before us also. 4 QB's and maybe 3 WR's pushes the linemen down 7 picks. 32-7=25. Some CB's will go maybe a S, the top TE, 25-2 more= 23, so even a slight move up won't be a big lift if we need to do it. Lots of choices at 32 if we stay put. I would rather ,move back a LITTLE into 2 and still get our guy Pick 34 or 35. Trying to guess Howie's mind is impossible, but it's a nice lineman draft, just right up our alley
