Davis is on his last year too. It absolutely is a possibility. Many other organizations along with their fan bases clearly don’t prioritize Dline near the levels ours has my entire fandom days. So shouldn’t be difficult at all for us to not blink at three Dline draft picks….right after we’ve spent so much on the Dline the last few drafts with Jordan, Carter, Nolan and Jalyx. Three more this draft is really pouring into that Dline. Already facing at having to pay some big money here beginning with Jordan. We’re likely going to overpay what I believe he’s actually earned so far. He brings that different element with his mountainous presence. Seems like a fairly chill easy going good influence….how can I describe trusted college Georgia teammate that benefits his teammates? Carter the most…but Nolan, Dean….Ojomo…….Jordan Davis might be the glue makes others better…not really talking about on the field as much as …bringing the vibe and head space we need out of his teammates. Nobody bigger and faster than him. Carter we need to stay focused on dominating and achieving his best. I championed him before he even was entering the draft as that completely disruptive beast I was willing to do about whatever it took to snag him. Only thing I ever questioned about Carter was just him being focused and dedicated to do what he’s so capable of doing. Already would point directly at season two as ample evidence to support how spot on my evaluation was. Not that I’m even saying he’s peaked and reached his ceiling even with season two success. But am seeing how his first two seasons(after is college speeding scare)played out almost exactly ideal to have him pointed in the right direction. Had as many good influences you could dream for him to been surrounded by. Got scared straight into facing jail time and blowing his pro career opportunity. We’ve had everything just right for Carter’s first two seasons to steer him straight.
April 14, 20251 yr I’m saying I think Jordan Davis has a positive effect on more than just Carter. Even if we just single out his influence effects on Carter. Would you pay, by extending Jordan Davis, an extra 3 mil a year because of Carter?

Would you pay, by extending Jordan Davis, an extra 3 mil a year because of Carter?Carter’s never been questionable concerning ability. Wasn’t really completely dedicated to football. Some of that I’d identify as really just wasn’t challenged enough as a player before reaching the NFL. Too easy. He showed up and could kick butt in high school and college. So the NFL brought him that challenge finally demanding he workout and put in the time. Ran out of gas big time rookie year. Not too mention just the level of players he’s facing now(don’t underestimate what our own team has challenged him with in practice). I still do believe his draft red flags weren’t some false evaluation. Without the huge legal scared straight moment and being drafted into such an incredibly ideal environment ….I really don’t think Carter would be proving those red flag scouting evaluations to be false.
April 14, 20251 yr Pointing out just because everything was incredibly ideal…doesn’t erase the concerns with the person. Take away Jordan Davis….possibly by replacing the ideal needed teammate with even a questionable personality. Or just even could get an ego and fame development going. Always has effects on anybody once the massive ‘bag’ or in his case entire Brinks truck of ‘bags.’ I absolutely applaud what Carter has actually done so far as a pro. If anybody else drafted him would the results be anywhere near the same? I really don’t believe they would. We’ve created the surroundings for his ideal success.
April 14, 20251 yr Heck I even could point out Fletch or most any elite player has suffered from weak offseason focus and dedication. Almost everybody has been through down years. Nobody…well not many players…attack and dedicate so year round their entire careers. Had to change nobody to not many because of Jalen Hurts.
April 14, 20251 yr Very invested in Jalen Carter is the point I’m trying to make. Further than just looking to pay him a fortune and scheme our D accordingly directly for him. Very deliberately focusing on everything else Carter needs to get the best from him. Can’t just start bowing down bending over backwards for him though. Caring trusted environment he feels safe and can thrive in. Guarding against creating an egomaniac that transitions into some Antonio Brown levels of chaos.

April 14, 20251 yr Ojomo coming on and very specific confidence Fangio targeted Jalyx with…eases these voids being lost.
April 15, 20251 yr They drafted 3 DL in 2023. Another 3 this year wouldn't surprise me... I'd be surprised if they don't draft 2So looking at all these posts I'm not sure what Ham is trying to say?? Diving deep into the overthinking rabbit hole. But let's get some good prospects next week.
April 15, 20251 yr Author https://www.phillyvoice.com/ranking-eagles-positional-needs-2025-nfl-draft/ They also have Becton and Donte right where I have them on my mock. Edge and DT should be the first 2 in my view unless a real steal drops into the abyss
April 15, 20251 yr Author Nolen, Pearce, Scourton all in play. One writer thinks we go with Starks(S), but I can't see that. There are more decent DT's available in 2 than edges. 14 more days(or 15) and we will know. We looked at an awful lot of OT/G's and OG/T's.

Diving deep into the overthinking rabbit hole. But let's get some good prospects next week. You of all people could be gaining information and knowledge from all I’m straight breaking down about the draft situation. Sure others share their mock drafts. But I’ve been breaking down the draft in ways for you to easily understand. Specific players, sure. But bigger picture breakdown about this draft class. You seem stuck on countering my educated assumptions strictly referring to not surprising. I don’t remember referring to the situation ever as a huge curveball surprise though. Unlike some here I totally understand about the need to look and plan the future. I completely feel confident Rosie always balances the present while understanding years ahead key factors. I believe this is a real strength of our GM. He’s already mapped out how the team is being designed years in advance. He also is very aware of what will be available years in advance.
April 15, 20251 yr Rosie understood Reddick wasn’t long term. He understood Milton was departing. BG was retiring after Fletch. None of this just snuck up on him. I completely believe he was accepting of these losses and changes. Because he was aware of the strength of this 2025 draft class. Not just a couple of months ago. He’s always gathering intel to understand this a couple years in advance.
April 15, 20251 yr Same goes with an understanding about FA options. He has it all broken down about what positions are probable to have more abundant options. Not just one step…right now thinking. It’s an ever evolving constant evaluation and knowledge understanding.
April 15, 20251 yr So yeah No Mas I never stated my educated guess predicting we draft 3 DLine was so shocking and surprising. But I did line up my reasoning of why I came to this conclusion. For you…could have been beneficial to have informed you about some specific facets concerning this draft class.
April 15, 20251 yr We are drafting a TE I absolutely feel confident to predict. Good class depth at the position. So don’t need to force anything to make it happen. Not just one guy to try and rely on basing this plan around. Plenty of quality options. It’s there for the taking.
April 15, 20251 yr Author SO I have the guys sorted by position that we HAD IN. I have sorted them out by rounds and will scout each on to determine the fit for us. Some are new found as we keep bring them in. Seems just off the bat the line positions will be the top 3 followed by fill in /could play a little, the round s are you projects. UDFA okayers can sometimes be as good or better than your round 5 pics. Of course we have to wait 2 full round to the go then. But first I will work round 1 since that is a first one up. Post later
April 15, 20251 yr Author These are guys we had IN for PRIVATE meetings/workouts. anyone we saw in pro days could find their wat on here IF we feel we can boot someone else. I will have my personal sort, but would like each of you to put yours in. There are guys that are "gettable" Of course if Howie moves up it's moot, but play along anyway. With some discussion and logic we can actually come up with an accurate board. And so we begin. I won't post day 2 until we all got this the way we want it. SO first thing is we need to agree on who we take first(either a mover up or down. If we are all convince we move out of round 2,then we will srcap this entire thing. And so here goes,he round 1 players we have had in
April 15, 20251 yr Author Round 1 (solid) Edge-Pearce-Edge-Tenn Walter Nolen-DT-Miss Conerly-OT-Oregon Ezeiruaku-edge-BC. Maxwell Hairston-CB-Kentucky Donovaon Jackson-OG/T-OSU. Loveland-TE-Michigan. Of these who is your first pick??? Put them in order best to worst
April 15, 20251 yr Author In a trade out of 1 into 2,here are the guys we had in,the "I hope this guy falls into 2 list" TJ Sanders-DT-SC Trey Amos-CB-Miss Tyliek Williams-DT-OSU Nick Scourton--edge AKA get one of these with another pick added. So there is y'alls homework . Once we have a concensus we can move on to day 2........ DO let's hear yout top pick if you are Howie
April 15, 20251 yr Author My goal is to make a "Board mock" we have all given gold stars to, just to see if if works, Lets see who pounds the table for who LOL
April 15, 20251 yr Author I will take Ham off the ignore list during this exercise so he can contribute. So let's get pick 32 decided on or the round 2 pick if we move back. Fire it up boyz
April 15, 20251 yr Author I will start. standing at 32 I am and taking Walter Nolen-DT Now give me everyones first pick. Moving back I am taking Nick Scourton -edge-Miss
