Fanin was the focal point receiver #1. The WR's were trash so he got many targets per game, would we replicate that?

But Bowling Green played Penn St and Texas A&M this past season. Not like he never faced anything but small little football programs. Those were good games for him at that.

This doesn’t add anything to my post that was talking how low recruits tend to turn into good players 😂…. I was defending the small program players

Then we need to go away from the KISS offense if you are going to use him as a receiver. That's what I keep saying. if you want to go pass happy,I'm all for it,but that's not how we are built

See I was hoping and believe it was happening that we were creating a new better O on the fly last season. So pulling back some while the coaches took a step back to rework things they had planned in the offseason is what I believed happened. Sometimes …really most times….on paper when it reaches live fire in real games? Things don’t go exactly according to plan. After the fledgling work in progress O was tested in real games? Then some realities were exposed.

No because at best Fannin would be the #3 target on our team in the passing game… could argue 4th behind Saquon.

Obviously AJ/Smith are 1-2

We won the SB relying on Barkley. Not sure we want to go away from that? With a TE as receiver 1? What do you do with the WR's we have?

Right a 2 pick(or 1 ) is a huge investment for a guy who's going to see 1-3 targets per game

So pulled back so the coaches could work things out. Players can’t make things work until that part makes sense. But then…hit like the Pitt game where opened things up with what they were putting together. Most was behind the scenes we just didn’t have access to know about if it really existed or not.

Then playoffs you really saw how it was totally needed and really getting unleashed.

New OC, new QB coach guided by Siri. How much change do we need when no one could stop what we had?

So are we defining our O’s ceiling completely based on first half of the first season trying to create and implement it?

Added Dillon to take some heat off Bark

Personally I’ve really been making the argument we need a WR more than TE. That TE just isn’t a huge position in our O. WR could get right on the field from the get go. But having that depth option at WR for this O would be a huge benefit.

I’d argue the complete opposite that the TE position is a massive part of our offense just not that flashy parts…. Geodart was a huge part of our success on the ground being such a good inline TE and blocker then added in his pass catching abilities still had 40 catches 500 yards last year

Or does everything I hoped for from last offseason what transpired? That it was all about getting there at the end?

Egubuka would fix that right now, but that's a tough call with all we lost on defense

I’m calling Jayden Higgins

Team grew all year after the bye. Pulled Hurts is, let him play calm. IDK that we should change that. DeJean became a playmaker. getting a CB locked would be a good thing. We looked at Hairston and Amos

We had no WR's(or top ones) in for visits, we had 5 TE's in I believe.

If they are replacing Geodart he has 52 targets in 10 games 5.2 targets a game….

Hell if we can get a 2nd round TE and he can give us 50+ catches and 600-700 yards I think that is a great investment from the position

he has experience I doubt you're going to get that out of a rook year 1

If we find a good one maybe he can contribute as the season goes along, but that's a big ask right off the bat, plus they all need to be trained how to block, so IDK what we do and IDK alot about the vets we brought in either

I know we love the Hurricane players(Arroyo in 2) Fanin or Ferguson in 3. Fanin fell on this site,so IDK if the Cinderella is wearing off LOL. Apparently they have the same concerns I do
