Every TE coach and scout agreeing on loving Fannin…tells me we are just hoping he makes it to our second round pick.

Is Fannin the Bowling green TE? Didn’t we hire his former HC got the inside information on the guy…

Definitely see us having interest in him

That's the reason we would select him at all

We have done well scouting TEs so if we like him I’d trust our FO on it…. I mean hell Geodart was a DII TE playing for South Dakota’s state.

Fannin wouldn’t be my top choice but if we like him I’ll trust the process

Cam extended....looks like 4 years $68 mil on the extension until 2029.

$17 mil per starting in 2026.... not even Humphrey's current #... he will get passed by a few more centers and fall from #2.

Locking up the core. Probably see Blankenship extended next.

IDK who we like, neither does Ham despite his statement that "every scout loves him". I can find links for almost any TE saying "he is the best". He is not the best fit for what we do with a very limited small school stat sheet(which looks great but I posted the league he is in and I went to Akron U. out of HS for awhile and it's no powerhouse). I would rather have a guy who's played with the big boys. IDK that TE is worth a round 2 investment after Hurts passing attempts were reduced to "minimal" with all the other needs that need addressed more. If we took him that high I would be disappointed because of the coach we brought in and trying to pander to him. It would just seem rather odd. If we traded Goedert for MAYBE a 4th what would lead anyone to believe a rook, who is very light for the position, to be worth a 2 pick? I feel due his weight and small school stats that he is not worth the risk. Maybe Howie does and obviously Ham does also

The guy from BG was hired as the QB coach not the TE coach. Ham questions Patullo being promoted to OC, but is fine bringing in a SMALL SCHOOL coach to be our new QB coach? These 2 "losers" would also have to function under Siri, who should have been fired last year 🤣 We're going 3-14 this year. DOOOOOOMED. The QB coach had a losing career record at BG, but we can trust him to make TE draft calls(YIKES).

Scot Loeffler

Career Record: 6 Years, 27-41, .397 Win% (at major schools)

Bowl Record: 3 Games, 0-3, .000 Win% (at major schools) I prefer this guy not make my next TE draft call even if it's MY fav guy. This is an awful record, but Hurts is far enough along he can be trained 🤣(Loeffler) Not thrilled with this hire, but onward we go. This is our team

https://www.espn.com/college-football/team/stats/_/id/189/bowling-green-falcons Final point. Fanin got the bulk of the receiving stats because their WR's are trash(rather strange their WR1 transferred FROM Auburn to BG), but he(Fanin) was more talented than the other small school guys he faced. It doesn't take alot to stand out when you face inferior players in an inferior league. If you want him and we took him I would wish him well, but I think being a lightweight he will have a rude awakening at the NFL level. I'm not going to argue about it. Carry on

Pass. Please send me the link to this claim

There are teams that have Fannin over Taylor, so he's a tight end darling," Jeremiah said.

Jeremiah said there's a running joke among scouts about how many position coaches will attend pro days together, and they all tend to be more biased toward the same few prospects. This year, Fannin was one of the tight end coaches' favorites.

"The consensus was Harold Fannin was the coaching favorite of the tight end coaches. They all really, really liked him," Jeremiah said.

Jeremiah believes Fannin could "go in the second round, when it's all said and done," or, "worst-case scenario, top of (Round) 3," even if Fannin lacks ideal measurables or testing numbers.

"He's just excellent with the ball in his hands," Jeremiah said.

You’ll see Jeremiah was a west coast scout for us. He moved up to bigger things now

Right "lacks ideal measurables or testing numbers " May be great for OTHER teams who lack WR's and RB's. he is not the best fit THIS TEAM

Small undersized ,can't block and with his size may never, so that's your guy? Doesn't fit the Eagles TE mold at all

5) Stock climbing for tight ends Taylor, Fannin. Jeremiah is a big fan of the tight end class as a whole, and he has his top two -- Penn State's Tyler Warren and Michigan's Colston Loveland -- in the top seven overall of his most recent ranking of the top 50 prospects.

But there's another TE prospect who might be nipping at their heels: LSU's Mason Taylor.

"Mason Taylor, to me, he's an emerging player in that everybody is comfortable with him," Jeremiah said. "He's a safe player. He's rock solid. He had a nice week at the Senior Bowl."

SO which DJ do you believe?

Mentality … absolutely. But it is always wise to "consider the source.” Your mentality about DeJean’s future is a fancy of your own making. Perhaps you should listen to Vic Fangio before only relying on historical statistics. Further, Howie is the best evaluator of the value of players and has consistently rewarded value received with value/dollars given.

You can listen to about whomever. But…this is about DeJean’s mentality and career choices. Everything surrounding the league the whole time says Slot CB are undervalued. Don’t get paid half as much as outside. NFL teams. You can say for a rookie to just completely ignore is market value. How many people in any profession make those career choices?
