And a sign of his desperation ...is when he posts about a dozen or so long philosophical posts having to prove he is just objective when it comes to Hurts. Never

65 in a row lmao

Saquan ran for 2 yards a carry. Nothing! That whole O plan failed…in the biggest of moments.

Completely lost LOLOLOL While they focused and game planned and put all their defensive assets on Barkley, they forgot everything else we can do. The great deception worked perfectly. Sucked AR right into the vacuum and our defense took the game over. 2 yards a carry while burning 30 seconds off per play. You can't score if you don't have the ball. AR(your other hero) was OUTCOACHED. ON to the 2025 season, the past is over

Siri isn’t awful. He just was far from actually qualified day one. His strengths are plenty. But don’t revolve around X and O football knowledge.

That's weird, I was gin to post 11-12 wins(I know this is after that fact, but that's what I figured. VS these teams 11 would be a successful outing, 10 would probably be in my range also since we play alot of teams away. Then again we play better on the road,so who knows. I will go with 11 wins

11 or 12 wins is an excellent season. Last year was ridiculous the regular season records at the top of the standings. That's not really realistic but who knows?

We remember well being an annual .500 club. Ride the wave while it's there

Matt or Will? Two first names. We’ll get you a nickname here. So hard to catch you up completely over years of endless year round discussions that have occurred. I am not some Hurts is god blind follower like I’ve been labeled. I’m very much a Realist. I don’t see much of anything or anybody that is perfect all the time. I view the world as more grey. Even the best and fantastic still have moments and areas to scrutinize and our less than perfect.

Actually I have two last names and no first name and no middle name. When I went to graduate from Cornell they told me I couldn’t graduate because only had two years of course credits. It turned out they had half my records filed under M and the other half filed under W. That was back in the days of four drawer filing cabinets, before computerization.

But Siri will be propped up by the results his elite QB has delivered despite of him ….without a doubt being massively gained by such quality teamates(both ability and character). When everyone here should actually be the exact fans that could know and understand so much better. Siri being green…unqualified and devoid of X and O wisdoms…worst part one step short term thinking driven. That all wasn’t a benefit to be championed and celebrated. That in truth all the very knowledgable fans of our organization should be exactly the ones to understand and see through the BS.

Siri delivered one step thinking process revolving around decision making that skipped past the most obvious fundamental needs towards our O growth all along. To begin his career as HC our team arrived to begin his first season way behind out of TC. Which would be completely understandable if it was for the right reasoning. If it was because we had such a young QB he was growing and developing the right way being the holdup.

All good coaches are supported by the results their players have produced. It is the core of a coach’s job to identify and bring in talented players and coach them up to produce good results on the field.

He’s redefining what’s actually important.

No he is not. The Transfer Portal and NIL have already done that. Following up on the end of discrimination against black QBs.

Philadelphia Eagles

Philadelphia Eagles

14-3

  • Home: Dallas Cowboys, New York Giants, Washington Commanders, Chicago Bears, Denver Broncos, Detroit Lions, Las Vegas Raiders, Los Angeles Rams

  • Away: Dallas Cowboys, New York Giants, Washington Commanders, Green Bay Packers, Kansas City Chiefs, Los Angeles Chargers, Minnesota Vikings, Buffalo Bills, Tampa Bay Buccaneers

What are the losses?

Iron sharpens iron. Exciting, entertaining schedule for us. Should be a fun year. I doubt we win 14 games but we should vie for the division title again

I agree wholeheartedly. Come the Playoffs they will be battle tested.

🤣 What has his innovation been for you to make this statement? The tush push involves many players to execute. What do you now define as "important"? Please make a list of Hurts innovations then a list of what is important. Make them separate posts so we can discuss it

Bart Starr was highly proficient with the Tush Push in the 1960s

He’s proving it every day of what you thought was important and needed to be successful wasn’t correct. After Jalen Hurts that definition has been redefined. Absolute focus on dedicated competitive drive to lead and win…gained by year round driven preparation to do so.

Have you ever heard of Vince Lombardi or Tom Brady. Hurts is very effectively practicing what lots of others before him have successfully practiced.

If that is how your brain works, then there must be a short circuit between your brain and your mouth/fingers, because what you are "saying” in your posts does not reflect that kind of measured thinking.

11.5 is the Vegas over / under...just as high of a record as there is in the league.

Vegas sets its lines to manage how the money flows in the bets they receive. Those lines only partially reflect what they expect the outcome to be.

So these things you are saying that Hurts brings are new?

Good question.

5 hours ago, cunninghamtheman said:

So shortest version possible is: e try single person that reads here(many you haven’t probably even heard from yet)….was against switching to Hurts in favor of retaining Wentz. Except…you guessed it…my lone voice that has remained unwavering the entire time against the entire mob rising against me. I recognized Hurts outstanding qualities. Stuck by him regardless of all others not just not sharing my opinion and view….actively being brutally hostile against my views surrounding Hurts.

And why is that important? Will it pay for your next cup of coffee?

Or... when they decided to throw less than any other team in the league... and it changed everything

And it was Lane Johnson and the O-Line who brought forward that suggestion. Not Moore. Not Siri. Not Hurts.

Which situation you think would have worked for Hurts ?

Can you imagine Hurts playing for Lombardi?

We’ve accomplished formulating an O scheme for him. We’ve made huge strides getting others in to accomplish much of what he can’t do on his own. We’ve been developing our HC for years now.

The very best managers hire people who are better than they are, and then empower them to do great things. The kind of manager you appear to desire is the kind of manager Jimmy Carter was.

7 hours ago, cunninghamtheman said:

What we were doing you’ve missed was busy with Moore creating an actual scheme for Siri finally.

That wasn’t Moore’s scheme. All you have to do is look at mMoore’s years in Dallas and you can clearly see that Moore is a "pass first, run later” Offendive mind. He isn’t as extreme as Andy Reid, but close. We will see that unfold now that he is down in New Orleans. The Offensive scheme of the four games before the Bye Week was Moore’s scheme.

7 hours ago, cunninghamtheman said:

Moore wasn’t allowed to just simply run his own quality formulated scheme developed over so many years. What he instead was tasked with was blending what worked previously for Siri. He had to actually create a scheme for Siri and our O finally.

In the first four games of the season Moore did exactly that. The scheme with the Eagles and Hurts was virtually identical to the scheme he ran with the Cowboys and Dak.

7 hours ago, cunninghamtheman said:

The huge leap forward, you missed No Mas, was Moore created an O for us finally. Completely understandably our brand new O scheme wasn’t completely perfect being developed in one offseason. QB wore a red jersey all TC. No PS action to even test anything on.

No. Moore didn’t create that O. Stoutland did.

7 hours ago, cunninghamtheman said:

Can’t even believe there would even be any shock or surprise after zero testing that our newly created O for Siri was less than perfect. Most schemes are developed for decades even. What was done I believe was we dialed back things after actually testing this newly formed O finally under real fire. Against actual opponents bringing varying skill sets of talent and defensive scheming approaches at it.

You have a fairy tale sense of how the 2024 Offensive scheme was put together. It is well documented that Sirianni looked at the collapse of the 2023 season as a failing on his own part. For the two years he was HC and Steichen was OC, Steichen called the plays, but it was Sirianni’s scheme. He was the COO, the Chief Operating Officer. That worked well those first two years, but when Brian Johnson took over for Steichen, the easy collaboration that had existed the prior two seasons simply wasn’t there. Johnson had no sense of ownership of the scheme, and his play calling was robotic. Nick resolved prior to the 2024 OC search to step back into a CEO position, a Chief Executive Officer, concentrating on the relationships with the team that had broken down so badly in the second half of 2023 on both sides of the LOS The OC he and Lurie set out to hire was going to be the COO of the Offense … and the DC they set out to hire was going to be the COO of the Defense.

7 hours ago, cunninghamtheman said:

So what I saw…can honestly only call it a very educated guess of what was occurring since I’m not an insider coach myself. We needed to adjust and rework our new O. Which is what Moore so brilliantly accomplished.

Which is what Stoutland so brilliantly accomplished.

7 hours ago, cunninghamtheman said:

Moore brought actually abilities to coach as well. He could actually provide rhymes and reasoning for why things are done like they needed to be

Agreed. But since he came from a pass first background and experience, he had to listen to his Run Game Coordinator, Stoutland. To Moore’s credit, he was a good listener. However, I suspect that in New Orleans he will shift back to the part of the game that is near and dear to his heart, the passing attack.
