The agenda...it never changes. Why do you keep asking?

Hurts is perfect, the best of all time

Howie is ok

Siri is bad

Everything leads to that...nothing changes except the path in getting there. Save yourself time and just go right to the 3 items on the agenda.

But Hurts clearly isn’t the best of all time. He isn’t better than Brady. He isn’t better than Elway. He isn’t better than Montana. He isn’t better than Young. He isn’t better than he isn’t better than lots and lots and lots of quarterbacks.

He is arguably the best Eagles quarterback of all time, but the legacy of good Eagles quarterbacks is a paltry lot.

IDK what is "shut down"? Zero catches? 1? 12 catches for no yards? In baseball a no hitter is self explanatory, this is more opinion based. I will look to see if there is an NFL definition for this

I don't see how that would make it more interesting

Not more interesting … more equitable. The teams in a Conference would play every team in the Conference. No cupcake schedules. All equivalent.

Why can't you have a cupcake schedule in your division/conference? I see no difference on that account. ANY team can be bad(and some for long durations such as Cleveland, the Jets, the Gnats. Like the Pats used to basically get 6 free games a year LOL

IDK I can just see alot of bad things coming from this like 1 team from each conference colluding with another to exchange/trade/plan players to make them each dominant in their own conference, which will lead to more rules, regulations, bias down the road. Like us and KC colluding to trade players so each of us play in the SB annually. I don't like it

Only 2 free games because all the other AFC teams would play 4 games against the AFCE (6-4 = 2).

I wouldn't go there....just simply....I think it's great that over the course of 4 years, you play every team at least once.

I like the playoffs as they are....obviously the NFC north had the advantage of schedule last year....but in the end NFC East teams played each other.

I don't mind that the 5th seed is the best non division winner and would play the 4th seed who is the worst division winner.

You win your division, and you get a home game. No issues with that. Gotta win your division to get all the advantages. If not, then you get the advantage of playing the worst division winner.

Suck it up and move on.

It would be cool to beat KC in KC. I am counting us being pumped up and winning that. That will make a statement around the league as KC seeks "revenge". We have some nasty tough away games this year, but as Joe pointed out we have nice rest times too. I'm looking at taking both games from Dullaz and the Gnats, maybe a split with the wuss. Going to be highly entertaining this year. Good stuff

Instead of this, I was wondering if they should do a seed reset after the wild card round. I think that would be more interesting. The teams with the byes stand but reset the remaining teams

Understood. In the proposed schedule change a non-Division team would play all four of the Division teams once each (4games total), while an in-Division team would play the other three Division teams twice each (6 games total). So the difference would only be 2 games net (6 offset by 4).

When the playoffs start every team is 0-0

Exactly correct. So from you finally somehow reaching this understanding…..all the really matters is that you qualify for the postseason. As long as you don’t screw up so many times you jeopardize qualifying for the postseason….then all that’s important is just how far along your team progresses that year towards peaking as near the potential ceiling as possible.

So you had the entire clan riding the short bus in your back yard? Interesting

Where I’m from we didn’t have clans…I grew up in America. Where football is in our blood.

Why is an advanced scheme better?

Lots of people swear by "Less is more”. Warren Buffett, the most successful investor in the World swears by " Less is More”.

Have you ever heard of Occam’s Razor?

Think you mixed up things in your misunderstandings. What a coach strives for is to make the most advanced well developed O scheme …easily coachable and understood. Bill Walsh and his West Coast O is first example comes to mind. The brilliance of O minded genius taking so much football wisdoms packaged in a way that could most easily be coached for players to understand and pickup.

It’s more about just how simplistic can the most advanced football wisdoms be transferred from the O genius coach to young players.

Which Siri pretty much missing all of this. He hadn’t mastered developing a pro scheme. He doesn’t possess the football wisdoms. He’s no O genius. He really hasn’t shown much of any signs he can coach(teach) players much of anything.

A coach without a well conceived scheme that couldn’t get across to others how to execute it and why(at this point just flat out don’t think there was much of a why involved)
