Guess we are rebuilding team. The Saquan move kind of blinded me to this fact. Thought we were making a go of things the next two seasons.

Are we better than those three?(obviously jumping to after the draft here)

Bears have a pretty good team put together. FL you stated Bears would win the North last season. Get them a real QB in now…are we better? Cards went toe to toe with us and beat us. Now have the fourth pick in every round to rebuild with. Are we better than them? Poor Panthers…if we aren’t better than them probably time to sell the team.

We are retooling for the next coaching regime that comes in 2025?

Bears were 7-10. How high do expectations need to be for Caleb… for the Bears to be a 10 or more win team? Not like they are trading away a bunch of picks to acquire Caleb. Plus…they have that 9th pick. They look to be a decent team….finally.

Detroit has a heck of a team lined up. Can’t leap to giving the Bears their division in that company. Pack seem to be rolling with some strong forward momentum. Vikings look terrible. But those top three I think makes the NFC North the toughest division. Just can’t see how you can label the NFC as anything other than the Niners as the team to beat. Detroit looks very primed and focused on that goal. Pack could very well be primed to pull things off themselves. Huge draft for those two.

Detroit has 29,61,73 as far as good draft picks.

Pack 25, 41, 58,88

If you think it will improve your team sure. You have to check it out and thats what we did. It also lights a fire under Siris butt.Failure and collapse is no longer an option

I think Lurie has an obsession with data gathering.   We see it with all the analytics.   I assume he talks to everyone he can.  Belicheck is a no brainer to discuss football.

Agree with this. Once the talk about football gets to those points though…then it’s called an interview.

Who was our best defender last year then, according to you?

Carter or Cox

To what point??    You are talking about Belicheck wanting to be the Czar... you need hours to find that out.  It's not obvious?

Who was in the room to " leak" that it was an " interview " where it was even discussed that team control was an issue?

You are the owner, who are you bringing in the room?

Who would benefit to leak that information?   Looks bad for Belicheck doesn't it.  So wouldn't be him.   Would it benefit the Eagles?

You don't think everything you hear is speculation?  But you roll with this idea because it fits your narrative. Yet ignore all that's being said regarding Hurts ?? Because doesn't fit your narrative?

I disagree obviously …thinking you are just taking Hassan Reddick for granted. But…that’s just my opinion. Reddick is a beast! So very underrated his whole career.

Think it’s possible the events surrounding Bellicheat be shell shocked and not landing the Falcons job might have been playing a factor here. Then now he got this job at ESPN. So some reasons for leaks on his side. On our side I think it’s very highly possible Lurie and Rosie have discussed the matter of hiring Bellicheat and dumping Siri. Before and after the interview.

Didn’t Carter have 6 sacks playing as a DT and was far better against the run. Definitely could say he faded down the stretch.

But Reddick started slow zero sacks first 3 weeks then disappeared as well no sacks for what final 5-6 weeks

Then we can bring up the bad D the switch and everything but that again would give more credit to a rookie DT over a veteran pass rusher

Not really...Reddick 2022 was impact player...  total of 8 fumbles recovered or caused....   Reddick 2023... one

Cox and Carter were constantly double teamed.   We're impactful during that 10-1 stretch stopping the run and vs the pass.     Your not being honest about Reddick 2023 and his impact.

Not like he was being doubled on the edge constantly either.

Very likable guy..local.  But we have to be honest here... liability isn't performance or impact.

So you are naming Carter as our best defender last season also? He was actually a backup….but you can have your opinion. Carter definitely had a strong start. For me our best player was Reddick. Highest expectations this season still would have been placed on his shoulders…you know…if he was still around.

Really makes any evaluation tough when considering the way the D finished. Will add at the end at least Patricia wasn’t dropping Carter back on coverage. About the only boneheaded stuff he didn’t try.

I just watched the games and Carter was always around the ball making plays. Carter started strong fell off when our entire D fell off.

Reddick started slow and finished slow solid middle of the season

No was just changing terminology and assignments and what he was asking for players really tough on a rookie

Our D was terrible but if you going to ask me who made the biggest splash’s throughout the year it was definitely Carter.

And honestly that a good thing hopefully moving forward if he can build on it

No doubt pass versus the run differences. 2022 we played with a lead and the pass rush feasted. Every single game and moment was tight last season. Wasn’t tons of just very obvious known pin your ears back and rush opportunities. Still saw Reddick as our best defender. For you to state the very first game like Carter was massively facing double teams the whole time just isn’t accurate. I don’t believe Reddick was as crazy killing it in 2023 like he did in 2022…but he was our best guy..on that side of the ball. That’s with him on the down swing lower season even.

Reddick was injured and played through it early. It was noticeable..but even dealing with that he still was pretty darn good.

Zero sacks in 3 weeks to start the year mmmmmm
