Otherwise you don't get anything in return. Then Dalton starts and we have 1 BU in Payton

October 9Oct 9 1 hour ago, GreenbleedinNC said:Hard for me to trust Dalton to lead this team. Payton probably not ready(unknown). That leaves McKee if you wanted to trade Hurts tomorrow, unless you can trust Dalton)I don't). I doubt he could take too many hits at his age and with our weak O line he WOULD be hit. Then you have the opposite theory that letting Dalton play would drop your record for a better draft pick. It would be like sandbagging without admitting itIf we traded Hurts tomorrow the odds are we not looking to win this season so you likely turn the reins to then McKee or Payton to see what you have in them. My guess would be Payton simply because he is already signed and on a rookie contract. Now if we trade McKee tomorrow then opted to trade Hurts at the deadline again would mean the same thing we don’t see us winning and looking to start the reset. So you would still play young guys so getting a look at Payton at QB Dalton stays the backup and we likely sign some other QB to be the 3rd

October 9Oct 9 So Kendall hasn’t been practicing been having Majors at C with Lampkin at LG.This OL is looking extremely thin right now whole new group essentially your veterans are now Mailata and Steen
October 9Oct 9 Really curious what the plan will be for Dickerson moving forward. Lampkin/Kendall play well could we look to trade Dickerson as well? Lampkin playing really well( better then Kendall) at LG would we look to move him to C over Kendall with Dickerson resume his LG spot when healthy? Would we opt to play Dickerson at C over Kendall?

But if so, you would think McKee gets a look first.I don't see this forfeit yet... a McKee trade makes sense if you are looking to get extra draft assets...and you sell that without a forfeit mentality. Getting the other two OL... that's also not a forfeit move.I think at this stage we look at moves that don't say forfeit yet. Later we could look at the forfeit moves...including Hurts.
October 9Oct 9 So for the potential of trading Hurts now.... both Overthecap and Spotrac are showing slightly MORE cap space for 2026, Spotrac shows the 2027 cap going from $43 mil down to less than half a mil Overthecap shows a slight decrease in the 2027 cap. But huge jump in the cap space in 2028So idk... depends on who is correct... but I just don't see it happening. The most sense cap wise is waiting until after 2027. But if they get an offer and they feel it's time to move on, I guess it's possible after this season.
October 9Oct 9 Would be hilarious...they trade McKee and get a draft pick....trade Hurts and get good draft compensation.. then sign McKee on the cheap to tryout being a starter.
October 9Oct 9 With the Jurgens trade almost immediately after your best player on offense retires, it "feels” like the Eagles have already moved on from 2026. Am I wrong? The Eagles may get destroyed in games if the defense isn’t stellar. The offense sucked with all the starters. How bad will it be now?
October 9Oct 9 Author Dallas picked a great night to be no shows. Can I pick 'em or what? CeeDee 0.9 fantasy points before he got "hurt" LOL(sheet)

How bad will it be now?So IMO here are some pluses we were forced in to. 1) We found out Kendall is fine at C and found out Jurgens cannot play G in a pinch. 2) We have new guys that have had no chance to show their stuff. Now they get that chance. You know who else did that? Darius Cooper. So we know it's possible if you work your tail off 3) Although unplanned Bell got introduced to the NFL. Maybe once F Johnson gets better we can rotate them in/out so Bell keeps getting experience. IDK that he is the answer yet, but he gets his chance and can at least be a decent BU. Some negatives(well many) are 1) Grennard seems rather prone to getting hurt for whatever reason. Maybe just minor flukes, but it's bothersome all the same. We paid alot to get him(jury still out on that). Things we can find out this week 1) If Lampkin's good play in August translates to real in season games 2) If Shipley can handle a full load(relief by Pierce) 3) If Hurts can locate ANYONE at all in the field of play (jebus this is still an issue after 6 years) and if he can play at all with a non pro bowl O line(my thoughts are that is not going to happen). If this is a prove it year for Hurts, we are definitely making him prove it, which actually makes the decision harder because with no O line he is going to look bad 4) Our secondary isn't looking good because we can't get a pass rush to save our arses. I'm sorry I don't see a win in London, but maybe we can use the experience as a test tube. We still have Micah Morris in the wings at LG. I seriously though Wicks was goin to have alot more impact, but he won't if Hurts can't find the guy. Too many things to list really. I'm sure you guys have more, but we'll see if this staff pulls together of falls apart. Carolina is playing well, but we saw Dullaz can't be beaten by 2nd tier players if you get a few breaks
October 9Oct 9 Author 2 hours ago, joemas72 said:I've had Dak all year... doing well...except for tonight...lolDak got tagged for picks that were no fault of his own. He can still rifle it in. Aerial tips will kill you all night. TB even had like 16 penalties and Dullaz still couldn't win. Bucky Irving just tore them up

Steen seems ok for now. RT and LG still up in the air

Tampa just messed up not kicking the FG to go up 3 scores... and you get the first TD but don't kick the extra point? Just dumb
