McNabb-we were in the SB just didn't win it so it wasn't a totally lost effort. I think the QB factory strategy is as good as any. Draft QB's from time to time as picks allow, pick up FA's from time to time, see if any are the next coming. I suppose all teams are doing this now. The innovation of the tush push and the fact we had the O line that could pull that off got us a nice enough record to take another stab at it. The 2024 team was supremely talented everywhere. Still with things as they are I don't see prolonged periods of being stuck at .500 like we used to be. I could eat crow on that stance later, but after Howie took himself to school the drafted players are alot, well I can't say better, but more consistently decent at least(no more MS2's or Reagors). As usual I expect too much I suppose, like a round 1 player making an immediate impact. Still too early to know if lemon is that, but wow, Stowers lack of "getting it" was kind of a shock for me. IDK if his injury is real or fabricated as we know all teams do it. I love underdogs like Darius. IDK what the future will bring, but it's disappointing the amount of injuries we seem to have. Now we get to see if any stars are going to be born from the rubble we call a roster LOL(Yikes)The 2017 team was more talented and deeper than the current team. Not really close either. The DL was like 8 deep...the OL was better, solid 3 WRs, prime Ertz, great RB committee. Safeties were excellent. I don't see this year's team as any super talent at all... right in the middle.

TB found their next QB(see kicking Dullaz arse) That's how you build a franchise. QB basically free for 4 years Now you have your QB,your #1 and 2 WR, you have Bucky Irving. Sounds like a nice start to me. TB works for that trade buddy. Houston is another option. TB is 1-3 BTW, why not start building for next year? At 1-3 you can't say your year is over quite yet. Not the start you hoped for but it's a LONG season. Meantime you have Mayfield who needs another weaponWhat about Indy? Follow in dad's footsteps.

I can't see local bars filled with beer drinking fans at 9 AM(FL is hereby excluded from that list 🤣)

October 11Oct 11 They're going to be talking about the coaching decisions at the end off the game all week.
October 11Oct 11 7 minutes ago, DownwithDallas said:They're going to be talking about the coaching decisions at the end off the game all week.As they should. The clock management is brutal. I get running on 3rd down to force them to use their timeout...but I'm throwing there to have a longer play...if nothing is there float it out if bounds. From there... 8 seconds left is different than say 4 or seconds. You kick with 4 or 5 seconds because the time would run out on the return if they advance it. 8 seconds is enough for a return into field goal range. The end of the half was brutal as well... you are up 7 with the ball first in the 2nd half. Let them run the clock down as they are in FG range.. number 1 job is lowering their chances of getting a TD. Then you worry about getting the ball back after they score.Simple math... you give them more opportunity to score a TD...then even if you have time to score a last second FG...the math is minus 4. If they score a FG at the end of the half...it's minus 3.I like all the attitude and all that the coach brings....but as the years have gone on, his clock management is just brutal. Absolutely BRUTAL. And the Hunt injury is indirect result of giving Jax the time to keep running plays at the end of the half
October 11Oct 11 There is a difference in coaching confidently....and coaching arrogantly.Dude has been arrogant..which is dumb with his current roster.

You had an opponent whose offense didn't play well in the first half the last two weeks. Then they scored what 14 and 13 points in the second halves.... Impotent would be a better word for our offense. Which is the issue. I mean, let's be honest... our kickoff coverage sucks...are we surprised it took this long to cost us??
October 11Oct 11 Now in regards to my comments to BG saying to play all the backups etc...once we are out of it The slop that is on right now is our division. Along with a team who lost at home to an 0-4 team without their QB.That's why as pathetic as we are ... who is good enough to pull away and mathematically eliminate us before Christmas?

October 11Oct 11 Time of possession to me is a team stat. The last Superbowl...we had time of possession because our defense was dominant. Hurts got MVP because of the fact too many defensive players played well...they couldn't give it to any one of them as a standout. 9 possessions they couldn't get over mid field. We had 34 points.... 7 from DeJean... another 7 after Baun interception on the 10. Mahomes fumble was another FG... the dagger was one play. Nothing great on offense...yet 34 points seems so good. But when the other team does nothing, you are playing offense the whole time. Basically we scored 20 points on 7 possessions. With great field position. That's ok...but looks great on the stat sheet...because the D dominated.
