The last Superbowl...we had time of possession because our defense was dominant. Hurts got MVP because of the fact too many defensive players played well...they couldn't give it to any one of them as a standout.

9 possessions they couldn't get over mid field. We had 34 points.... 7 from DeJean... another 7 after Baun interception on the 10. Mahomes fumble was another FG... the dagger was one play.

Nothing great on offense...yet 34 points seems so good. But when the other team does nothing, you are playing offense the whole time. Basically we scored 20 points on 7 possessions. With great field position. That's ok...but looks great on the stat sheet...because the D dominated.

Instead of kicking through the EZ Siriana has Elliot kick to the return man who has a great return

Jags kick a FG with 1 second left on the clock.

Do I have this right?

If so and the Eagles don't fire Siriani they are just tanking for next year

Yes that's right. So if you are astutue the players would understand that the guy has already returned the ball in FG range(while he is running) The mistake was tackling him, just keep him in bounds 1 more second before tackling him. They aren't taught this stuff. AKA let the clock expire before you tackle him. It's not like he had a shot to run OOB. Just another STUPID loss. I figured they would blow us out. I woke up just before the 1/2 and was shocked we had a lead. We DID score in the second 1/2(our lone FG). Just a ridiculous lack of understanding what to do. We deserved to lose because we shot ourselves in the head

I don't recall hearing the name Darius Cooper after the 1/2. Gave up what little running game we had and gave up throwing to Coop. We always stop doing what's working LOL. I've never seen anything like it

They couldn't control that....Just make them win from scrimmage without a time out. To be honest he was tackled with 2 seconds left. They would have had to tackle him inside the red zone... at that point he would have returned it for a TD.

And how many seconds away from being 4-1?

The details matter. A collision between Cam and Hurts, a kickoff return... two plays where the details should have been taken care of.

As fans... we want the retooling, the high picks. I'm not in that mode for next year. The 2028 draft is the one I will focus more on. If we draft 13 or 18 or 21 next year... whatever. But more importantly...let's actually hit on some picks.

Last year's first two picks I keep seeing get beat on defense. Campbell looks like he's never played football before. Brutal.

Maybe we need to go back to drafting linemen!

I defended Siri all along, but no more. I had a table set up with "change my mind" and he DID. Can't fault them for not having every top star, but that's football and you learn to cope and Siri's decisions have been JV at best. As I always say, it doesn't bother me losing to a superior team(well winning is always better!!!) as long as we play smart and to our ability and I have seen very little of that. The D is ok, the offense stinks and I'm not blaming that on losing AJ. He was disgruntled for a reason and now it's exposed. When you have an unsuspected "Star" like Darius Cooper you need to GET THEM THE BALL

This is what I'm saying. If we can't step up we will be drafting in the signal digits this year.

In the 2nd half of games we have looked like a jv offence. Some of that has to be on the QB some the OC and Head coach. If we continue to struggle like this, with all of our draft capital coming up, I could see a complete reboot. New coaches and QB for the new regime.
