October 12Oct 12 Wow. Game observations:Coaching decisions will be the headlines…and maybe should be….but lots of other issuesI love Q Mitchell. I was worried about his knee injury. He played great…but his "effort” to tackle Lawrence on a QB run?…..embarrassing!Baun is an OUTSTANDING football player! Defense is so much better with him playing.Jalen Carter was a stud today.Defense, again, played their butt off!Offense is OFFENSIVE! Plenty of backups, but they made it to the NFL. They must be talented enough.I disagree about Lemon. I see a player improving. He needs more opportunities that are NOT WR screens! Wicks is average. Played great today.Ertz….love him…but he is a liability now. He cant block. He can’t separate.RB….do they have one now? OL is nowhere close to the 2024 team. I mean, NOT EVEN CLOSE! Lane Johnson is a once in a lifetime tackle talent. Jason Kelce is also a HOF player. This group is……we will see.Safeties are average to below average. I liked Sidney Brown , but they drafted the kid from Texas high so he was expendable. Playing great for Atlanta. Epps…Carter…both below average. You cannot do anything special with them. So Joe, safeties are below average comparable to the other 32 teams…..say 20-25th best. Numbers completely estimated.Really disappointing to see them lose after kicking the FG to lead with 8 seconds left. I was CERTAIN they would kick it out of the stadium and play one play on defense.

Edge, really disappointing. Do they have the talent? I believe they do or could. I see those guys not really playing to a high level, aka coasting. I think they get tired out due to lack of offense and who(normal people) are going to give all they have when you are abused game after game with no rest? At some point you go into "I need to look out for me" mode and I feel that's what I'm seeing. As a unit-average to below average due to lack of sustained effort(due to being tired out). They show flashes at times and disappear at times
October 12Oct 12 Author S-below average, LB average or a little below, edge-average sometimes above not a sustained top unit IMO. What's bad is lack of sacks. I see them getting pressure sometimes, but not finishing
