Both I’d say would be the best S on our roster.

So that's the issue... you would say that.  So safe to assume those guys would want to start.  We have our starters at S.  After Byard disaster.... I don't think we bring in any back up that would have that idea of being a starter.   For the player nor the fans like you.

You don't think he would prefer to go a place where he would start?

Of course he’d prefer that. But he’s had a rough go of things the last two seasons that probably won’t afford him that opportunity. Not unless he wishes to hold out until during the season.

A third S gets plenty of time on the field anyway. But yeah would be nice if we could upgrade and make Blankenship our third S. I see Adams as a very nice complimentary S to CGJ and Milk Check.

I still don't know what the plans are for DeJean. I know he wants to play, but where?

Being a better option than Quez is hardly saying anything much positive. These are some terrible stats Roob dug up on Campbell. If he remains our clear cut third option….not looking promising. Shouldn’t have to explain how it will hold back being an elite O if we have such an obvious weak link out on the field consistently. Very limiting in the case of either of the top two WR not being able to suit up.

Better fit....absolutely a positive.

Ainias can play out also,it's not his prime spot, but he can still do it and we have a few other guys that we don't hear about. Maybe they are fine as BU's but we never hear anything

Of course you don’t care. We have an actual QB coach this season plus an actual O scheme…would seem to obviously be of assistance to our QB. But if you thought he took a step back from being the top QB from 2022 in 2023…I can agree with that. This is all why I just want the best O mind we can get for our O to thrive. Would you agree with the obvious statement of Steichen is better than Johnson was as an O minded coach?

Simmons has every reason to expect to start. Adams isn’t on that high footing currently in his career after these past two seasons.

Just using some common sense to make an educated guess. Maddox has proven to really struggle with durability and is only a short term one year signing. I believe DeJean is on the fast track to being the starting Slot CB.

Yes I would agree, but he is not here, the QB is the general ON THE FIELD and he was part of the collapse and the bonehead mistakes need to STOP. no more SB drops,no more JV EZ sacks, would you agree??

Well if the player is better for us, then Blank would have to be the BU

Blankenship and CGJ are the starters.

Ross is one step away from getting a job at a car lot. Johnny? Hurts is trying hard to develop to become what this team really needs.

And what if those 2 are better than Blank, just ignore that?

Not sure if such a pathetically low yards per target WR is a better fit for anybody…anywhere.

Hurts is not developing anyone we have coaches for that. Playing pitch and catch is not "developing" someone, stop with the Hurts is a god BS

No I don’t agree on that. How many fumbles does Mahomes have in SB games? I do believe cutting down on the turnovers is key to Hurts having a very successful season. The sack I don’t know much of what he really could have done about. He was straight running for his life. What could he have really done to avoid the sack? Hopefully we can block somebody so he isn’t immediately dealing with so many rushers unmolested so far back.

So you don't agree Hurts dropped a ball??? And you don't agree Hurts took a JV EZ sack at TB? really?

Turnovers will kill any team. JV turnovers hurt the worst because they are JV errors in a PRO game

BTW I think Johnny will "develop" with or without Hurts as most rookies do.it's why we pay coaches and staff

You can clearly see Hurts explaining and coaching the young guys in the photo. Obviously really hoping the coaches can develop these WR. Hasn’t worked out that way so far unfortunately. It isn’t about Hurts being a god. It’s just very obvious he identifies the needs for this team. He clearly is being very proactive in working on improving the team.

You mean like all QB's do with new rookies? Like that?

What was Hurts supposed to do to avoid that sack? I did agree Hurts fumbled. Just pointed out how many times Mahomes has also fumbled in the SB.

Oh…so now coaches actually have a role and matter now to you?
