Needs to stop the picks and "wildman panic" throws. Toss it out of bounds and live for another play. Not the best scenario but an OOB toss is better than a pick in anyones playbook. I really have no clue how you can fail with who we have on offense. Oh I forgot,C and RG are going to be just awful. There is where you start the excuse list. 2 clueless players who have no idea despite being coached by the same guy that gave us Mailata and Dickerson on the left side
July 19, 20241 yr Author Steen is the heir apparent at RG,but camp has not played out yet. It's his job to lose

Owners want titles for what they invest in and other times you have to clean house and start over. If that means EVERYONE,then you do it and hope you learned from it AR taking us to all those NFC championship games you are comparing to how the cowboys rarely win a single playoff game?

Slay seems locked in to start. I’m believing DeJean will start on the slot. So that leaves the mega battle for one outside starting CB spot between Q, Ringo and Rodgers. Rodgers has down well already in this league. Had a large wake up call and is focused on his career big time. I liked what Ringo did to finish the season. Ringo I see as a legit starting CB. Proved himself in that last four games of last season. So then you have our first round pick from the small college football program. Very known how high I’ve been on him. But I’m really not nearly as sure as you he starts week one.

So I guess I am not alone saying we are "all in" for the next 2 years. As I said IDK what else Howie can give Hurts

IDK how you can sit your #1 pick after the lackluster performance last year. Slay looked a step slow at the end of last year. I suppose he could have regained his form. We'll find out in camp. Mitchell was covering AJ before,so I they are trying to see what he has
July 19, 20241 yr Q…Fangio gave some looks as the Dime LB. We don’t have coverage LBs. So he might get his first looks there. I’m not sold on he will get day one starting outside CB job. Once he starts getting looks out there you’d like to stick with him. But initially you could make solid reasoning towards going with the two others guys. Tough call…I don’t know. I like Rodgers. See our three starting CBs as Ringo, Q and DeJean going forward longer term. Always good to make guys earn their spot though. So starting with Slay seems like a must at first. He’ll get hurt a few games in anyway.

IDK... But I absolutely agree there was a disconnect between Hurts and the coach. I also believe more of the players sided with the coach. I also believe Siri had input in the offense, probably more than he wanted to. I just believe that it was because Siri/ Howie/ Lurie didn'r trust Johnson (Hurts boy) So who does that leave on an island?? So now 2024 ... Both coach and QB stay .... the moves were to get a new OC and immediately sign Barkley. 2 moves that tell the QB... the team is bigger than you my man. Time to grow up. And I believe this is a great thing for the QB and for the team. Also.. I believe the game management wasn't close to as good as it was in 2022. Time management and some other HC type decisions. So you take what Devonte said, " you can miss things big picture if you focus too much on one thing, now coach can see the whole thing better" I see it, now that he can let the OC do his thing, he can get back to managing the game etc. And the other good thing... enough Hurts stans in he fanbase and with Howie/ Lurie feeling they did a great job this offseason building the roster, Siri will have pressure on him to produce, just like the QB has to prove 2022 results weren't a fluke, and that his stans are justified being upset at him having a 13th ranking. Plus for me, I like going into a season with a prove it mentality, rather than look how good we were last year. I believe they were a little full of themselves last year, including the guy with 3 patents " keep the main thing the main thing" " I had a purpose....yada yada

July 19, 20241 yr " Heading into the season, the Philadelphia Eagles are currently the favorites to win the NFC East. It would be hard to argue against that, as they made a concerted effort to upgrade their weaknesses during the offseason."
