Just curious...

If a team lost its MVP level QB

Its best LB, the signal caller in the middle

It's playmaking RB, returner/ YAC creation specialist

It's best ST player / 3rd safety

It's starting LT who was playing at a pro bowl level.

... if that roster was deep enough to have the best record and win the Superbowl... would it be safe to say it was the best roster in the league that year?  Probably by a good amount after losing all those key pieces ?

That was us 2017.  That's rare to have that kind of depth.  I don't see SF being able to do it. Trent Williams and their LB...forget even losing CMC.  KC loses Mahomes, they got no shot.

You can't go into every season just expecting the worst.   Do you see a roster built today that could sustain those key injuries and still be " elite"?

If the QB wasn't allowed to simply signal a guy to come in to pass protect... that's a system issue for sure.  If he was allowed to make that " adjustment " at the line, but didn't...then it's on the QB.

Either way... new system...and I definitely  believe this has been discussed and the QB will now make the adjustment.

If the whole stadium knew it was going to be like that before the play was called? That’s my key point. How can you excuse the playcall yet blame the QB? We all knew blitz was coming, right? I mean it seemed so very incredibly obvious to me. Maybe I’m making too much of an assumption…but shouldn’t have just been me expecting blitz. Didn’t you expect blitz?

A play is called for the Giants....they have open  backfield...  Do you think Daniel Jones calls one of his guys to come in and pass protect?

If the whole stadium is expecting blitz do you not think Dabol is calling a blitz beating play?

Again..while your obsession is to avoid any blame for Hurts...  my belief that they addressed Hurts responsibility in making these adjustments.

You see.... the childhood friend... maybe can't get past Hurts being a child...mentally.    Moore and his QB coach don't know the preteen Hurts...they only know the adult, so they come in ready to give him adult responsibility.

Hurts also isn't held back by the mental training wheels... and he finally experienced adversity as a pro... the first offseason where nobody kissed his ass.   I believe this helps him mature a lot.

Great for the team.

If you can get past 2023 and who you want to blame and move on to where you see this helps Hurts now.  Then maybe you will get it.

But I'm thinking this is like 2019 cap...you just can’t get past it

Getting past 2023 is just so you can pretend to be ignorant about the situation. Let’s face reality instead. Like I’ve stated Hurts is only 25..,had different coordinators every year. So he still has lessons to learn. Let’s not avoid that. But let’s also not avoid that the higher ups…the HC and OC didn’t have the answers either. Much more damning and embarrassing.

Start at square one. Whole stadium expects blitz. What play you call?

AR, McVay, Shannahan, Dabol, O’Connel, McDaniel, Bellicheat, Taylor, Ben Johnson, Slowik, Payton, Pedey….they all have tons of answers here

This list better include Moore or we are screwed. But the list very clearly doesn’t include Johnson and Siri.

What if Swift got hurt?

You are the one sited Saquan as the reason you expect us to be elite

Let me ask though.

Do you always go into every season focused on all the bad things that can happen.. who gets injured etc?

If Trent Williams gets injured what do you expect from the 49ers offense? Elite?

Is this why your wedding caused all this anxiety?   Constant thinking of all the worst possible things happening?

They have a brilliant O mind in Shannahan to adjust. But losing the top Oline player on the league makes a huge difference no doubt.

My wedding didn’t cause me all that anxiety. See you missed the whole story. So what’s the point in Trying to explain anything to you. Was it a massive ordeal that took up a bunch of my attention? Yes it did.

You sited Saquan, a third RB and some mythical slot WR I don’t even know who you’re talking about as reasons we should move to elite this season. Your list. So seems obvious to ask you if Saquan gets injured does it change your expectations drastically. Especially from my viewpoint of not understanding your slot player you see as the big upgrade…or understanding the third RB contribution to the elite O contribution equation.

It’s not like Saquan has proven the most durable pro player or anything. Just an obvious question in response to your thoughts…I’d think anyway. But I guess you are only allowed to badger me about demanding questions answered and not the other way around. When in fact I actually did and do answer your questions…while you dodge answering mine.

It should hurt the Bears I’d think. He’s a quality RB. I don’t see much of a gap between us and them.

See us as 10 wins them as 9

That team showcased all the things in this beautiful team sport you just can’t wrap your head around that equate to quality. All whole franchise performing as one. All shown by many how they each individually weren’t good enough. They fought like he11 for each other and wouldn’t accept the verdict of not good enough….cant be champions.

So many guys had their career season that year.

What happened in that key moment? Our third string undrafted RB pitched it to our third string TE that threw it to our backup QB for the TD catch. They didn’t score because they were all the most talented. You missed that whole special season. You’re  blind.

Frankly it kind of saddens me you just don’t understand how special that SB title was.

Burton wasn’t Joe Montana. Foles wasn’t Jerry Rice.

Tom Brady is the best there’s ever been. Did he catch that pass? You’ve missed the whole thing.

Same reasoning you aren’t comprehending so many issues we’ve been facing since

Do you hear Kelce belting out how we assembled the most talented team ever?

Now they are admitting they identified the assassin Crooks as a person of interest over 60 minutes before the shooting. They spotted him on the roof over twenty minutes before he shot. WTF

The assassin was on the roof of the building the police were using as a staging area. Counter sniper team was literally inside the building the sniper was on the roof of.
