I'm fully in with Ainias being our slot guy after this year. he should take it over from Paris at some point.so for me finding the nest TE is where I will look

I don’t want to put limitations on the kid. But right now he’s trying to develop as a returner…if he can catch the punts clean. Need him to show some durability. Try to get him involved almost like a scat RB …but a WR version. Think he has a ways to go to develop into legit third WR role.

Not in the long run,I disagree. We need TE2 here to become TE1 when it's time for Goedert to go. They need to play and be groomed

WR3 I’m arguing is probably even more important than TE1 in our O.

Where did this story even come from? How did this get generated? Feels like FO knew Siri needed some huge boost of any credibility. So right before TC to counter all the hot seat lame duck news about Siri…they get their buddy with the Inquirer to pump out this fluff piece. Anonymous source says….Siri’s great! Hahaha

Bleedingreennation like is says in the header LOL

I just want him to be that outside WR. That alone would be huge!

Why do we need him outside unless someone gets hurt?

BGN just posted a story from the Inquirer

AJ and Smitty can play any WR position

"Jeffrey thinks Nick is the real deal,” said a former Eagles executive in a recent conversation. You could feel the guy’s eyes roll over the phone.

Nice story bro

Lurie likes him,why he stayed here. Doesn't matter what you think unless you want to buy the team

Ideally that third WR would also be versatile to be capable to play any position. But Johnny I only see as an outside X type. But if he can do that would be huge for us.

Exactly…whole story…anonymous ex exec says Lurie likes his own decision for this season…before this season starts. Breaking news flash!

Evidently WR3 has been incredibly difficult for Rosie to find. Quez, OZ….old man Version of Julio. Heck Hurts even threw TDs to OZ and Julio. Kind of showcases how important the role actually is. That our QB pretty much forced those guys to do something.

I don't think Hurts has the field vision now decision making ability to make enough reads to involve them unless the play is specifically for them(1 read). This is what I want to see Hurts improve on. Slot should be read 3 or 4 depending

Ainais is a quality return option. He can perform those YAC creation plays. But we don’t really need a Slot specific guy really. AJ and Smitty are very capable of manning the slot.

We need a clutch guy OVER THE MIDDLE that gives Hurts a window. Quez ran trash routes usually only long and deep. The slot guy needs to move the sticks who can occasionally take one to the house over the middle(see JJ). Thus the Ainias pick

By I really think they just decided that they didn’t have the right HC options to turn towards at that point for this season. Top two options probably being OC Johnson from the Lions…or the guy in real high on Slowik the OC in Houston. Both will be available next offseason. So …just need to develop the D under Fangio. Look at the offseason moves. They reflect this franchise logic taking place. Brought in the supposed second place finisher for HC job behind Siri originally in Moore. So maybe he works out. If he does maybe just promote him to HC next season.

Slot can be read one in many situations….if we had a real option to turn to.

Look at teams that make post season. SF,KC,US These are 3 of the best TE's in the business. Coincidence? I don't think it is. A top TE is more of a nightmare to cover than WR3. It's nice when you have them BOTH and why we got Ainias. Once he gets up to speed he will challenge Paris for the slot.

So far with the terrible options we’ve provided in the slot…..the Slot has been the Break Glass in Case of Emergency Read

So you are saying the best TE ever in KC has been effective? Shocker

They moved him around the FL St. he actually doesn't know where he plays. We will figure that out for him and get him going

Hurts can't see read 2 usually, let alone reads 3 and 4. He needs to process faster and get the ball out faster

He needs to get the ball out faster to read 4…ok

Going to be telling in many ways. Hurts and Siri on the hot seat IMO and Fangio needs to get the kids involved and working

I think they are versatile and can play any WR position. I expect Moore to move them around and not be so terribly predictable. Watch. But what option do we have to play outside when we do move either inside? Johnny is the only option…possibly Ngata if he makes the big jump finally.

NFL stands for Not For Long. But to describe the 2022 MVP runner up and 2023 leading MVP candidate after week 12 as on the hot seat stretches this saying to the limits
