Ainas is a developmental later round project

More baloney. He can play out of the gate if we want to toss him into the fire. Hopefully we don't need him to. Slot guys always go later or was this your first draft?

Idk...I thought YAC creation specialist was perfect for a slot???

We're just Hurts haters. Ham has all the answers I want a guy who gives the QB a window on read 3/4 that can convert 3rd and 4's(in which case this could be read 1)

If Hurts fails for 2 more years he's not going to be here for 3. There are no reasons to fail, now, weapons all over the field. he can basically throw blind anywhere on the field if he knows where his receivers are,Not those clowns running down the sidelines with their hands in the air waving

He won't " fail"....would be more of limited success.   Can't fail with this group...even the SF fan has 10-7.

Curious as to why we got him here then

Obvious weren’t 31 other teams challenging hard for his services. He was the second choice behind Parker who retired.

I'm not a homer. Another bad, misinformed erroneous statement lol

You stated no reason not to win the Lombardi this season. Seems pretty dream like Homer to meet.

So he has a long time to go then. Wait until he fails the first season…then we can countdown towards the second.

4/5 top teams have the 4/5 top TE's but you see nothing from this? That shows your ignorance

Why are you so boxed in with it can only be done somebody else’s way? Why wouldn’t we just hyperfocus on what it will take for our team to get it done.

IDK why would we pay ludicrous money for AJ to be in the slot?

I see him as an even larger weapon if he is moved around playIng multiple positions. Makes things much more difficult for a D to plan and predict that way also. You blamed Hurts for not having as much production over the middle. So which is it?

Excuse 1,877 of "y'all need to grab a cloth and join me buffing Hurts statue sack"

This is your response to my being critical of a Hurts shortcoming?

Quez ran out routes, not middle of the field routes in the hopes Hurts could POSSIBLY locate him somewhere on the field because he sure wasn't finding him in the middle. Goedert never ran to the middle of the field? Noone ever ran a crossing pattern in 3 years now?

There is a huge difference in not throwing to Quez over the middle and Quez not coming down with the pass over the middle.

Hurts got the eclipse here,so we could see it in our lifetime

He does cast a large shadow

Lol... why is it so important to you to win the hard way?

That’s a play that can be setup in many ways. Goedert has been our guy doing them mostly. But you can stack WRs outside to run them. All sorts of YAC creation plays to be called. Some can actually be backwards passes which technically are a run…but still fits in the YAC creation department.

Let’s see if he can catch a punt first. Then maybe see if he can catch a pass. Baby steps. Then we’ll load up his plate. Think you are putting too high of expectations on him too early. Of course that’s pretty much standard business practice for you so…carry on.

I’m just looking forward to guys running routes that aren’t so long developing when not needed and knowing the heavy blitz is coming. Will be refreshing. Think even Moore can figure that much out ….while Siri is taunting the opposing fans and players….keeping Big Dom busy babysitting our "HC.”

Your boxed in thinking trying to make our team and QB into somebody else is the hard way….as I see it.

The hard way is trying to win with inferior coach.

The hard way is trying to win a SB when the league is totally against us and for creating the National Mahomes League.

Courtesy of Roob’s observation:

Six of the last seven times their over-under was 10 or more, the Eagles won fewer than 10 games. The only exception? Last year.

I have zero clue if he was contacted, the point is he is here now

Why do you think we can't?

TE1 is much more crucial than WR3,then again you can't understand this either. I guess the top 5 teams see it my way?. I am focused on how we get it done, you just make excuses that it can't be done. If you start the season in fear, you end the season in fear. After last years debacle it's urgent we don't fall into quicksand early. Good test week 1 in Brazil

And don't you think the 2024 group is set up better for that?

I've caught both....the pass is much easier than a punt.
