Fangio really didn’t pump Bryce Huff up at all. He gave a flat sobering honest answer. Actually pretty refreshing and I like how he’s just a straight shooter. Exactly the way he wouldn’t lie about the Gannon scandal as being the reason he didn’t take the job last season. But really kind of a yikes answer about our big FA signing. He might just be a pass rusher only player.

Yes not your traditional scenario for sure. But I think in the short version answers these are the two main outcomes. We have our DC in place. Who’s the HC to run the O going forward?

Btw...I was trying to read up where Moore was the runner up in the coaching hire in 2021?   Couldn't find it.  Just that he was 9th guy interviewed?   

When asked about the starting LB situation the first name Fangio brought up was Zach Baun. This after Rosie mentioning how we clearly targeted Baun immediately in FA. Seems like the starters at LB are set. Can Dean get in the mix there sans injury feels like the only question going in? Found it telling of the thinking going on here.

This was on yesterday on Eagles insider... 6pm on 97.5    The beat writers on there give good insight.  Not like the know it all dorks that are now the hosts of the shows.  15 minutes at the beginning of the show and you get all the good details... without the agenda some of these hosts have.

Yes sir... the 5th weapon  ... I am expecting a few more 2 RB sets.    Which would be what the UDFA from Georgia would bring to the table running in a power position with Barkley motioning around as the extra receiver.  you could do the exact same thing with the other RBs in the backfield too.

Seems pretty clear they understand we are missing that third WR. Getting a taste and sense of things here to start TC. I’ve been assuming the verdict will conclude a move needs to take place to bring in that third WR. Parris got first  shot. John Ross got his looks today. Two rookies getting their reps in. We’ve been developing Ngata for awhile. Just need to see what WR can be uncovered. Verdict still very much out.

Yes... pretty clear we do not have that stud 5th weapon.  Exactly.  Its why they have to switch that player to use the different formations...2nd RB... 3rd WR... 2nd TE etc.   I'm assuming more 2 RB sets this year... the 2 TE set, Moore likes to use that more than we have been .. so that should increase.   I also think A Smith gives a few plays a game as the orbit motion, end around and screen guy.    While still not having the stud 3rd WR... this group should function better than last years group. More versatility with that 5th option... even though we all know clearly no stud 5th option.
