Talking about what we need to win a championship in 2024 and forward. Not how somebody else did it decades ago. They got Fangio in place…a year late…but he’s here now. Who’s the O mind to pair with him for us to get this done? Fangio as DC....the O mind as OC. I agree ..that's how they want it under Siri. 100%

I don’t see Moore as a brilliant O mind. That’s kind of been my holdup with our whole situation. But he’s about as good as we could do for getting an experienced OC. Siri can’t develop some green young O mind. But our FO did interview him multiple times for our HC job before settling on Siri. So it’s easy to see him earning his own team by taking what didn’t look too cohesive most of the year last year here and spinning that into some gold. It’s his O. There is talent on O here. If we produce an elite O Moore will get the credit. Siri can't develop some green young O mind.... who was his first OC? How old ???

He lost control with Chip so he wasn’t going to let Pedey do the same to him. That’s why we only look to hire the green hungry coach with potential types. There is a hesitancy for Lurie... Lurie hires the head coach. Lurie likes the organizational structure. Lurie is in charge. Lurie.

It was convenient that we got out of both of the MeSeans contracts ...and then a year later we're able to unload Chip's guys for barely any dead money. I think that was their way of having the excuse to keep control. Now you hire Doug then Siri..both guys just looking to coach...both success. I can't imagine they give up control ...and you believe they were considering hiring Belicheck but didn't want to give up control, but think they would to someone else ... at time of hire???? No. My thoughts are on the two leading HC candidates right now this next offseason. Johnson and Slowik both OC never been HC before. So they are a fit for us. Top O minded HC candidates. First time getting their own team so they won’t demand all the power right away. But if they are quality enough coaches like I expect that time will be coming. But I don’t think the FO had to give up all power and lock Rosie in a seperate ring and all. Just need a normal working relationship between GM and a quality HC. Strike the professional balance to succeed.

He was only good under Reich a very quality OC himself, though he posed as a HC at the moment in Indy.

Lurie and Rosie just aren’t football guys…we need football guys running more of the football stuff.

Let’s skip the fact I don’t understand Siri as a CEO type HC in the first place. In talking about to get the best O minded coach you have to make him HC. The alternative is you limit yourself to the best of the rest that will be willing to except being just OC. Being that the top O coaches are first in line getting their own teams across the league. So if we hire a quality OC in this current format he’s getting poached by another team immediately..one year maybe two. Then we are coach searching again. Stuck in this circle. But can’t hire some bright young O mind to develop as OC because Siri can’t develop them. So we strictly need experienced O mind willing to only be OC. Severely limiting our potential coaching talent pool. So we take chances and hire bad ones. Have to deal and waste years on that. But even the best versions of that scenario means we lose our good hire to be poached after one or two seasons. Think about this in any longer term views. At best you pretty much can only accomplish having quality coaching fifty percent of the time. Heck two good OC hires in a decade would get you 4 years out of ten of quality coaching. Is that even anything to strive towards?

Not just a completely sit back and let the football guys run the football business owner. But not as involved as Jerry Jones. He has Rosie running everything for him. Nothing crazy needs to happen here. Just a more traditional structure of the FO jobs staying more in the area if the FO mandates. Hiring a coach that is if quality enough to handle more of the coaching duties. That’s all.

July 25, 20241 yr Author "He went on to talk about football being a team sport, and even if one player has a big game, winning is still the result of the whole team. Barkley explained that it takes all 11 guys on the field to make any one guy look good, because if even one player is off, it could result in a negative play. The RB later admitted that the historical dominance of the Eagles offensive line was one of the things that drew him to Philly, saying that it will do a lot for his game and the goals he has for himself. Barkley recalled a run during Wednesday’s practice that felt natural, as if he and line had been playing together for awhile, and he’s super excited about how that will develop." Barkley feels at home and comfortable. Although he may not be the focal point,he will have a huge role. He also understands he may not get the stats every game, that is terrific as every game plays out different and he is no prima donna

Was it genius O mind with Evans, Godwin, Brown, Gronk, Fournette...etc . Getting the ball from Brady? Plus that defense. What plays did you see as genius? Dude knows football...but his people skills are his greatest strength.

Very much like 2017. 2022 I believe this problem helped create the failure. Pedey and Schwartz win in 2022 in my mind.

Well a AR, McVay, Shannahan….can bring in the green OCs and develop them. Siri can’t do that. We are limited to experienced OCs that can run their own show. Steichen had been running O already experienced. Moore experienced running his own O. Johnson no experience but some in college running his own O under Siri doesn’t work. It has to be an previously experienced retread OC basically.
