That’s why I state their success is a bigger failure. The more they by into that narrative the less likely they will be to adjust accordingly in any opposite directions. Just become more and more micromanaging the football guys.

Right so you agree with me... with a successful season..they will keep things the same.  I agree.

That's what they will do.  What we want doesn't matter.

They said he has had his best offseason

Well, nice to know that seems to be translating to real practices

You have nice theories.. probably why you think " this is the year they draft LB or S in round 1"

I just go by the behavior I see.  Until that changes... I am not predicting it.

Bottom line...they have a successful season...they come back with the same staff.

They don't have a successful season..then they make changes.

31st ranked pass D. Did that force Rosie to adapt and address what could so very obviously be pointed at as HIS failure? First round CB. Second round big trade up for CB. FA correct last offseasons mistake and sign CGJ.

But lets be clear .. if they win a ring, that not a failure in any way.

As a fan, that's all that matters to me.

Failure.. bad results...they make changes.   Successful season...they aren't going to make changes.

My point of desiring to make good decisions and that we deserve the best coaching they can acquire. Fans accepting less is the only way this can possibly continue. But I saw Siri lost the team. Look on YouTube in that Giants game at the lack of respect and shame our players had of Siri. Watch Gunn(I believe) report about players calling out the coaches on their frustrations with the O being way to predictable. Siri had to answer these press questions about it. Denied it and said he always studies over everything to make sure that kind of stuff doesn’t occur. The. After the season what did Siri say? He admitted the O became predictable and stale. Flat out! The players already were looking at him this way. How can you run it back with that same coach that lost his team so epically? You can’t even be in denial of the disgruntled players situation over the coach….because the coach finally admitted it was true even.

If it’s broke but they can slap enough lipstick on a pig don’t change it

It seems more so than just the field... it's what multiple sources ( I like hearing from former players,  Lane,  some local media guys who cover the team) they say Hurts is having his best offseason as a player and a teammate / leader.

Got praise for how he handled his press conference yesterday. They said he seemed engaged and not distant...more pep than usual... and no corny clichés.

Philly just wants their players to be engaged and come off authentic.  Apparently yesterday was a big step for Hurts in that.

Exactly winning a ring is a win most any way it happens. But I am stating this is the reason they didn’t get a second ring in 2022. What’s holding us back. I think Lurie might just not accept that at some point. Just like Rosie attacked bringing in DBs finally after such a terrible embarrassment of DB personnel put a terrible light on his job performance as being a problem. Some thought the GM failed in this area anyway(not to speak for all). Most I would have to believe would conclude 31st ranked pass D as terrible job performance.

This is where maybe I’m just being overly optimistic. But I think change is coming either way. Just wasn’t any quality change they could make this offseason. So they kind of had to choose to float Sori one more season even though he lost the team. So Moore is getting his on the job tryout. He can win the job. Or they look to hire the next O minded HC.

My point...we deserve to win.  If they win, they won't change.   I'm not going to root for them to lose so we can change.    I had 14 years of watching a coach rinse and repeat awful game day management... one SB trip... 8 years later of total mediocrity , they finally fire him.   At that point it can't get any worse personality wise...so just win.

I think Lurie and Rosie already very calculated made these decisions. Fits their MO. How they operate.

Ham... I get it.  Already got it.   You constantly harp on the same thing.  We know...what you think.

I'm saying for 100th time....only what Lurie thinks matters.

Thinking a year and step ahead

If Siri wins a SB...you seriously think he gets fired?   For real you think Lurie fires him?  For Moore?

You expect offensive genius here?  Or simply not being a doofus like Johnson?

Yeah...they fire Siri at the parade?

You think he’s in denial that Siri lost the team? Is he denial Siri couldn’t adapt? Looked at firing him but didn’t, why? You seem to believe because he still thinks Siri’s the Real Deal. Badumpdump. I think knit was after they concluded their wasn’t the right great option they wanted to bring in available. So decision was postpone for one season. Can bring in Moore the runner up for the HC job to give it a go as OC to prove himself. He wins the job or they go shopping.

I don’t see Siri winning a SB obviously. Had his best shot. But would we fire our SB winning HC in record short time? Yes, fact and proven. Better coach than Siri. The doofus of the coaches wasn’t Johnson. Which coach needs a babysitter?

You are way out in dreamland now. Good for you.

The coach that the players stopped respecting and playing for last season leaking how bad a job he was doing and their frustrations with him. Watch the Giants tape on YouTube where at least five players look at Siri’s antics with disgust. Smitty started saying something even…then realized to just back out.

Watch the video of Siri reacting to players leaves frustrations. He denies it all. Then after the season admits the O got predictable and stale. You think those leaked player frustrations with Siri were still fake? You think Hurts feelings towards Siri haven’t reflected this? Hurts didn’t even come out now and deny anything. Didn’t say the media just misinterpreted and blew things out of proportion. He said that during losing frustrations bubbled over.

YouTube Eagles Players look annoyed at Siri. Watch that short clip. Watch that and tell me Siri didn’t lose respect from his team.

Even Kelce had a massively animated moment with Siri last season. Now this moment I can’t really say what the reasoning or why. So I’m not going to completely say he was just frustrated with Siri. Point is the players very clearly saw it all coming. The wheels were about to fall off the bus. Siri didn’t galvanize team cohesion then…it went completely the opposite direction.

Anyway…that’s what I think is Lurie’s plan. Pretty sure he’s well aware of the Siri issue. So much so he knew he needed that article written to boost up his stop gap HC going into TC. That puff piece could have come out any time. But it just so happened to be right before players report.
