Dallas defense is trash.

Might be starting to look like Dallas defense is just not very good so far and Watson/browns made them look much better week 1

Yup 2 interceptions in the end zone in 3 games.  Got to clean that up.

I'd love to see some play action, bootleg plays when they get down inside the 10.  Get him some safer throws when they get down close.  Moore is supposed to be good at scheming guys open.

Goedert was running wide open most of the day, so that part worked

Final Game Three Prediction Results

@EaglePhan1986 with a prediction of Eagles 23 and Falcons 21 gets the win, with @mattwill with a prediction of 24-21 getting the runner up (Stan Lee's infamous No Prize).  A total of 74 predictions were recorded with 20 for an Eagles win and 54 for a Saints win.  The average predicted score was Eagles 23 Saints 35.

Only 3 Bonus predictions were correct.

@B3with "Hurts a fumble and an interception"
@Diehardfan with "Hurts multiple turnovers"
@joesmite with "Offensive turnover"
@NCTANK with "Hurts INT"
@Shalodeep with "Hurts 2 turnovers"
@Swoop with "Hurts with two turnovers"
@Bob Manigan with "Eagles D gets 1 sack"
@DrPhilly with "Barkley with 120 total yards and a TD"
@Road to Victory with "Eagles lean on Barkley"
@vsptroops with "Barkley with over 100 yds and a TD"
@Hawkeye with "So suddenly Carr has been transformed into Tom Brady? Not buying it"
@NJWolverEagle11 with "We become the first team this year to hold them under 40. Grease the poles"

There are in my opinion the following two Honorable Mention Bonus predictions

@bpac55 with "Dallas Goedert 300 yards receiving" and
@Casey @ Bat with ""You either win or you learn” Looks like we continue to learn

170 yards is damn close to 300 yards, and we definitely continued to learn.

The 74 predictions in score order were as follows:

I would take what Nick says in these PCs with a grain of salt. He’ll claim responsibility for the play because it failed and he isn’t going to throw Moore under the bus by saying he called it.

That's ok.   The Tush Push was his creation.  He's attached to it, and we saw him jawing with Hurts prior to that play.   It lines up.   I get the idea that he's not going to throw others under the bus... that's ok, because regardless of the play call, the decision was wrong.   Even if they score a TD on that, its still a bad decision.   Good results doesn't necessarily mean that the process that led to it was good.

Dallas is not good

Weird. They have one of the highest paid QBs in the league.

Quick thoughts on today’s game…

The defense came to PLAY today. Great tackling for the most part, and the dline played in their backfield most of the day.

Quinyon is going to be a top 5 CB in this league. Great instincts.

Seeing Brian Chalkins seal the win was chef’s kiss.

Saquon is the most talented overall RB we’ve had in a long long long time. He needs to stay healthy. But I’m really enjoying watching him.

That hit on Smith was a horseshit dirty hit.

The backup OL was spectacular. Kudos to Fred and Steen.

I still think Sirianni is a moron and 9/10 times makes the wrong decision when forced into situational football.

Besides the eagles going into New Orleans and winning, Vikings might have the most impressive win this weekend. They took the Texans to the woodshed. And darnold looks like a good Qb

Save it. Heard the same thing last season each and every single week until the wheels completely fell off.

This is not a good football team.

They could/should be a great football team.  And that's what's so frustrating.

This is not a good football team.

This is an imperfect team.

Bad teams don't outgain opponents 2-1.

This issues aren't fundamental, but rather easily identifiable.

QB ball protection.  QB decision making.  Penalties.  Aggressiveness on the margins.

And yet the analytics said that kicking the FG was the move at the end of the half.   So... did he marry analytics or did he roll the dice stupidly?

Chasing points doesn't work.

Literally one of the dumbest coaching moves I've seen.  Even if they got the first they'd have to use their final TO and then get one or two shots in endzone and if sacked or somehow tackled in bounds half over. Why risk not getting the first for that? It was extremely dumb

Interested to see what % we ran a bear front because it seemed to work

Awesome.   So, its not Moore's offense.   It is Moore's offense except for when Sirianni swoops in.

You sure he wasn't covering for him, taking the blame?  He's done it before.

Don't really care for the vikings but darnold deserves it went to 2 of the worst franchises in the jets and Carolina

With Hurts, we are just stuck on this roller coaster.  I don't like being portrayed as a Hurts hater who wants him to fail so I can be right.  He's just the embodiment of everything I do not like in a QB in how he plays...and I'm not enjoying the ride.  But we are stuck on this ride for a while.  I don't know if Steichen is an offensive genius...moreso that he really synched up with Hurts nicely and his one-read comfort and did great things with him in 2022 before the league figured it out.  We heard all the rumblings about how they only had Hurts read half the field that year.

The rest of the offense is so stacked...we just have to bank on Moore and Hurts figuring eachother out enough to capture some of that.    I think they can make it better and get intermittently good results...but I just don't see how they truly compete for a SB again like in 2022 now that there is a blueprint on stopping this.

I'm starting to believe 2022 was an anomaly and Hurts won't get back to that. He's not stepping up in the pocket and he's not seeing the entire field

To be fair AJ Brown has been out and that's a big loss. But the mistakes are painful.

Credit to them for winning this game. because last year when they hit adversity at the end of the year, they just rolled over and died. This could’ve been a game where they just got flat out destroy if they looked like they did at the end of last year. But they actually showed up, especially defensively and played well.

Yep or pass from the pocket actually.  When he runs to one side it cuts the field in half.  If he passes from pocket he just needs to make the correct decision or throw it out of endzone

This is a bad football team. Don't let winning today's game fool you.

The defense looked much, much better. They may very well be our saving grace if they can keep it up.

Unfortunately the moron we have running the team and the moron we have under center are still here.

Dude...we won the game.  :facepalm:

And why is anything he said wrong? They won a ton of games last year as well and it was covering crap.

The turnovers are a problem. They can’t keep having multiple turnovers a game and expecting to win. I said that last year through the 1st 11 weeks. It was always going to get you at some point in time.

They feel like not a good football team and are frustrating to watch but still they managed to beat 2 NFC contenders in that process. So I think underachieving might be a better label than good.  Because who would you label good then?

FUMBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!
